【教學(xué)目標(biāo)】
   1.知識目標(biāo)：四會單詞person,interest.skill,activity,sailing,success.pleasure,etc掌握短語：come out,as a result.理解并識記課本文中的知識要點。
   2.能力目標(biāo)：掌握閱讀技巧和方法，并能從文中提取信息,提高閱讀能力。
   3.情感目標(biāo)：培養(yǎng)學(xué)生良好的興趣愛好，促進(jìn)學(xué)生健康成長。
【教學(xué)重難點】
重難點：閱讀能力的培養(yǎng)。
【課時安排】1課時
【教學(xué)過程】
一、導(dǎo)入環(huán)節(jié)
（一）導(dǎo)入新課，板書課題
導(dǎo)入語：Today we will learn Module 6 unit 2 .Hobbies can make you grow as a person.
（二）出示學(xué)習(xí)目標(biāo)
過渡語: Together read the learning goals.大屏幕展示目標(biāo)，學(xué)生讀目標(biāo)。
過渡語: Are you clear? Let’s go on.
（三）Warming_up.First let’s do a guessing game.Guess what hobbies they are.

（一）自學(xué)指導(dǎo)
1.Fast-Reading: Read the passage and choose the answers.（凝神聚氣，眼疾手快）
2.Careful-Reading: Read the passage and answer the questions.（詳讀，找出關(guān)鍵信息）
3.Read the passage aloud find out the phrases.（大聲朗讀，注重發(fā)音）

1.Hobbies can make you grow as a person,  develop your interests and help you learn new skills.  愛好可以促使你成長，培養(yǎng)你 的興趣，并幫助你學(xué)習(xí)新的技能。
解析：make sb do sth    make sb + adj.    make sb + n.
His jokes made us all laugh. 他的笑話把我們都逗笑了。
Listening to music can make me happy.聽音樂可以使我快樂。
 　 We make him our monitor. 我們選他當(dāng)班長。
（練習(xí)）：His talk show is very funny .It always makes people

make you grow as a person: 使你健全成長    as   prep. 介詞 這里表示“作為”。
He began to teach in that school as a math teacher in 2000.develop your interests    培養(yǎng)你的興趣
develop 表示“發(fā)展，形成，成長，提高”。
This course can help you develop your speaking skills. Tom has developed into a strong leader.
help sb (to) do sth  幫助某人做某事help sb with sth      在某方面幫助某人      
I help him cook the meal.我?guī)退�做飯。I help him with his English. 我?guī)退�補習(xí)英語。
2.As well as the usual activities,such as sailing and climbing,there was awriting class.除了像帆船運動和爬山這些常見活動以外，夏令營還有一門寫作課程
    解析：as well as 表示“也, 還, 除……以外還有; 而且”, 是并列連詞, 用來連接并列成分。
 連接并列主語時, 謂語動詞與前一主語 保持一致。
     The girl is lively as well as healthy.  We all want to visit Beijing as well as Shanghai.
     He as well as his friends likes playing football.
 as well as 與 not only …, but also…的區(qū)別：A as well as B  強調(diào)A, “不但B, 而且A”
 not only A but also B  強調(diào)B, “不但A, 而且B”

People may have many different types of hobbies during their lifetime. When we are very young we spendmost of our time playing with toy trucks. We may enjoy playing a sandbox or building with wooden blocks. When we get older, we start our first real hobbies. Some kids go out for a sport like football or skating. These new interests can be quite time-consuming and most children spend a lot of time on them. Some children might get interested in less active activities like reading, painting, or stamp collecting. Others might enjoy playing an instrument like the piano or the flute. As we get older, our hobbies might change or go on. Some people might spend their whole life on stamp collecting. Other people might change their interests every year depending on fashions. Some people are lucky that they have found jobs that are similar to their hobbies, like a person who loves teaching and becomes a teacher.
