人教版選修七unit 2 Robots單元核心話題是機(jī)器人,閱讀文章以Claire對(duì)機(jī)器人Tony情感的變化為主線涉及到很多關(guān)于人物情感的詞匯,除了形容詞以外,也涉及到人物情感有關(guān)的名詞,動(dòng)詞等。學(xué)生對(duì)一些簡(jiǎn)單的情感詞匯已有涉獵如happy, excited, relaxed, worried etc. 如何理解并且運(yùn)用本單元的情感新詞如embarrassed, alarmed, envied etc 是關(guān)鍵問(wèn)題. 在學(xué)習(xí)的過(guò)程中, 大多數(shù)學(xué)生只能記住其中文含義,對(duì)其意義和運(yùn)用仍然非常模糊。因此,基于本單元話題Robots的基礎(chǔ)上,通過(guò)回歸課文,詞匯分類,探究詞匯用法,描述影片人物情感,拓展話題“翻譯機(jī)器人”的發(fā)展,將詞匯融入閱讀中,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生辯證地對(duì)待機(jī)器人和人工智能。這是一節(jié)詞匯“運(yùn)用”課,旨在幫助學(xué)生利用所學(xué)詞匯, 在體驗(yàn)中獲得“使用”的樂(lè)趣。
教學(xué)理念及思路
語(yǔ)言學(xué)家呂叔湘先生指出:“詞語(yǔ)要嵌在上下文里頭才有生命,才容易記住,才知道用法。”詞匯在語(yǔ)言中不是孤立存在的,它只是在具體的句子中才有意義。根據(jù)英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)的特點(diǎn),教師應(yīng)該堅(jiān)持“詞不離句,句不離文”的原則,有針對(duì)性地把詞匯放到特定的語(yǔ)境中講解。同時(shí),要引導(dǎo)學(xué)生把詞和句子、語(yǔ)篇結(jié)合起來(lái),在具體語(yǔ)境中去理解詞的意義,掌握詞的用法。因此,如果詞匯僅靠教師的講解和學(xué)生被動(dòng)記憶,往往導(dǎo)致學(xué)生缺乏用英語(yǔ)表達(dá)真情實(shí)感的能力。鑒于此,本課的思路是:以單元話題Robots 為基礎(chǔ),以語(yǔ)境運(yùn)用為核心,探究詞匯用法,利用所學(xué)詞匯拓展單元話題,基于英語(yǔ)學(xué)科四大核心素養(yǎng)的要求,實(shí)現(xiàn)詞匯的形式、意義和用法的有機(jī)結(jié)合。
