Setting a scene is a good way to get the students involved in the lesson. Tom's schedule is the scene of this lesson. The students will help Tom to choose means of transport according to his schedule. 
3Students analysis 
The students have learned some words of transport and they have a interest in this because it is closely connected to our real life.

1. To help get the main features of different means of transport 2. To help the students choose appropriate way of transport 
5Teaching procedures 
1.  Leading-in 
Show pictures of different means of transport and ask the students to say the words out 
2. A guess game 
Show some descriptions of means of transport and ask the students to guess what it is  3.Setting a scene
