一、教學目標: 1. 知識目標:
1) 學習掌握下列詞匯:scissors, paper cutting, form, balloon, heat, lively ;
2) 學習掌握下列短語:be turned into…, be used by…, send out, such as, covered with, rise into, put…on…;
3) 學習掌握下列句型:Sth can be turned into sth else. sth is/are made by/in/of…; 4)了解與中國傳統文化藝術有關的風俗習慣和文化背景,如孔明燈、剪紙等。
2. 能力目標:
1)了解常見的文章結構特點——先總體介紹,后細節描述。并運用于寫作中; 2)引導學生用英語正確表達中國的傳統藝術和相關名稱,進一步鞏固本單元的目標語言

3. 情感態度價值觀目標:
拓寬學生的知識面和提升民族自豪感,對學生跨文化交際意識和能力的培養進行潛移默化的教育。
二、教學重難點 1. 教學重點:
1) 掌握本部分出現的生詞和詞組,達到熟練運用一般現在時被動語態的目標。 2) 閱讀短文,獲得相關的信息。通過閱讀活動,明確“A general introduction is usually followed by specific details and examples”閱讀策略。

8. writing: introduce a task for the Ss, that is to write a product which is famous in our town. ask the Ss to discuss in group and encourage volunteers to express their opinions
