一、教學目標： 1. 知識目標：
1) 學習掌握下列詞匯：scissors, paper cutting, form, balloon, heat, lively ；
2) 學習掌握下列短語：be turned into…, be used by…, send out, such as, covered with, rise into, put…on…；
3) 學習掌握下列句型：Sth can be turned into sth else. sth is/are made by/in/of…； 4）了解與中國傳統文化藝術有關的風俗習慣和文化背景，如孔明燈、剪紙等。
2. 能力目標：
1）了解常見的文章結構特點——先總體介紹，后細節描述。并運用于寫作中； 2）引導學生用英語正確表達中國的傳統藝術和相關名稱，進一步鞏固本單元的目標語言
結構——被動語態。
3. 情感態度價值觀目標：
拓寬學生的知識面和提升民族自豪感，對學生跨文化交際意識和能力的培養進行潛移默化的教育。
二、教學重難點 1. 教學重點：
1) 掌握本部分出現的生詞和詞組，達到熟練運用一般現在時被動語態的目標。 2) 閱讀短文，獲得相關的信息。通過閱讀活動，明確“A general introduction is usually followed by specific details and examples”閱讀策略。

1) 閱讀短文，獲得相關的信息，并構建落實“A general introduction is usually
followed by specific details and examples”閱讀策略的思維導圖。
2) 理解并運用所學的詞匯及被動語態完成有關產品原材料和產品用途的宣傳。

8. writing: introduce a task for the Ss, that is to write a product which is famous in our town. ask the Ss to discuss in group and encourage volunteers to express their opinions
