Review of phrases in Grade 8A                        
 
Learing Goals： 
Task 1: Remember the 40 important phrases chosen from 2b of Grade 8A. Task 2: Make right and beautiful sentences with 3 phrases in right situations. Task 3: Choose at least  5 phrases to write a passage based on a topic. Importance: 
40 phrases: buy something special      decide to do       go online  
can’t stand doing    have to do with       be surprised that/at  etc. 
Especially what they can’t remember clearly, read well or use freely. seem possible 
eg.It seems possible for him to come to my birthday party, but I’m not sure.  Difficulties: 
Each learner needs 3 steps to grasp a phrase: 1. Memorize 2. Find the exact meanings in different situations. 3. Use them in right situations to express their ideas or feelings. The final purpose of learning is to use them, especially in right situations, so it’ll be difficult for students to make right and beautiful sentences. Teaching metholds：group work and task-based teaching Teaching procedures： Step 1: Warm-up 
T: This is the first time for me to teach here. How about you? S: I have had lessons 3 times here. T: You are more experienced than me. 
   I know everybody wants to learn English well. Which is the better way to learn English well,memorizing words or phrases?    So let’s learn phrases instead of learning words. Step 2: Lead-in 
Some language experts think emorizing the vocabulary lists is a waste of time. Phrases give you a lot more information. When you learn phrases, you are not just learning the individual word,you're learning grammar,too, even though you don't realize that.Learn phrases will also help your pronunciation. Native speakers naturally pause between phrases. They speak the language in phrases, because they learned English mostly from phrases, their pronunciation is clear and easy to understand. Step 3:Learning Goals 
In this lessons, we are going to finish 3 tasks. I believe you will do great work. Task 1: Remember the 40 important phrases chosen from 2b of Grade 8A. Task 2: Make right and beautiful sentences with 3 phrases in right situations. Task 3: Choose at least 5 phrases to write a passage based on a topic. Step 4. Check students’ reciting results by 40 important pharases. 10 phrases are given for 4 times, here are 3 ways to check: 
                    
             
                    
                            1. Write on the blackboard. 2. help each other 3. Ask the teacher for help 
Please speak them out loudly and wtire down what you can't remember clearly or read well! 
Step 5. Make right and beautiful sentences with 3 phrases in right situations. Set 3 situations to students.  
Scene 1: If you have any trouble, please come to me.I’m always there to hear.(to a hard-working girl whose English is not so good) 
Scene 2: Don’t spend too much time going online during your summer vacation, will you promise?(to a clver boy who likes playing computer games) 
Scene 3: Maybe in the future I’ll lose my job. Guess why? Because all the students will study at home on computers.(to all the students and make relaxing class environment) 
Step 6.Group work: choose at least 5 phrases to write a passage based on a topic. 
My biggest worry 
As a teacher, my biggest worry is that Tom always has problems with his schoolwork. 
He always gets bored in class and make careless mistakes in his homework. Though he make promises to become better again and again, his final grade is still disappointing.I hope to help him solve the problem. His deskmate is also ready to try his best to help him out. 
 I believe his bad behavior has to do with his laziness. As long as he is more hard-working, such as, making a weekly plan,it seems possible for him to get better.I don't want any of my students to fall behind. 
Every group give a report about the tense given. The teacher adds if necessary. T: The more, the better. You have 5 minutes to finish it. 
I think you can do better if given more time. So please write it again after class.Please remember:I’m not the best one, but I’m trying my best.Class is over. 教學(xué)反思： 
怎樣在復(fù)習(xí)階段既達(dá)到掌握知識又能提高能力并且進(jìn)一步提高學(xué)生綜合英語能力，是我在進(jìn)行教學(xué)設(shè)計時的著眼點。本節(jié)課要復(fù)習(xí)八下詞組容量非常大，采取什么樣的復(fù)習(xí)方法才能保質(zhì)保量完成任務(wù)呢？如果不向?qū)W生講解相關(guān)的知識點，學(xué)生難免經(jīng)常出現(xiàn)錯誤；如果單純講解語法點，又怕陷入枯燥乏味的傳統(tǒng)語法教學(xué)模式，終于設(shè)計出學(xué)案和課件，思路也逐漸清晰起來。 
我始終注意把把更多的時間和空間留給學(xué)生，充分發(fā)揮學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)的主體作用。采取遵循由學(xué)生個人自查----互幫----識記----運用的規(guī)律，然后教師幫助查缺補(bǔ)漏的方式，設(shè)計思路很清晰，但由于過高估計學(xué)生的掌握熟練程度，只有1/3左右同學(xué)達(dá)到了教學(xué)目的，第三個教學(xué)任務(wù)沒有很好的完成。編故事環(huán)節(jié)設(shè)計很好，但是因為時間有限且學(xué)生缺乏寫作素材，留成作業(yè)讓學(xué)生在課下進(jìn)行。 
這堂課讓我感觸最深的是我們必須用心為學(xué)生創(chuàng)造良好的學(xué)習(xí)氛圍。可能很多方法我們也曾想過，可是由于我們不夠細(xì)心，不夠細(xì)致，不去嘗試，不去思考，很容易就把一些美好的設(shè)想抹殺掉了；沒能仔細(xì)思考學(xué)生到底要的是什么，沒能積極地提高學(xué)生的英語興趣，很多時候我們更多去關(guān)注了“課堂紀(jì)律”。其實我們要做的不僅僅是維持表面上的“課堂紀(jì)律”，更重要的是要從初中英語教學(xué)目標(biāo)及
 
                    
             
                    
                            實際出發(fā)，多動腦筋，多想辦法，使紀(jì)律與自由相結(jié)合，采用多種教法來激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣，使英語課堂成為一個既生動活潑又和諧有序，且有利于培養(yǎng)學(xué)生英語聽、說、讀、寫各種技能的重要場所。
