Ⅰ. Teaching aims
1. Knowledge aims:
(1)學習并掌握新詞匯

(1) 學生能自如地談論不同的事物對情感的影響。
(2) 能正確地運用本課的重點短語造句,畫出思維導圖和寫出關于不同的事物對情感的影響的短文。 3. Emotional aims:
通過對Section C的學習,了解情感與外界事物的聯系,學會如何保持健康的心理。 4. Culture awareness:

多媒體、黑板、道具、頭飾、情緒卡等 V .Teaching procedures: Warming-up:
T: Good morning, boys and girls! What day is it today? Ss: It’s Friday.
T: And what’s the weather like today? Ss: It’s sunny.
T: Yeah, sunny days make people feel happy and active. I think it can affect our feelings. Do you think so? Ss: Yes.
T:In Unit5 ,we learnt some words about feelings, What are they?(學生回答所學過的情緒的形容詞,老師獎勵情緒圖卡,然后再請學生將情緒圖卡貼到黑板上預先準備的情緒樹上) 活動目的:請學生通過完成情緒樹的方式來讓學生學會對所學的形容詞進行復習和分類整理。
T:(老師指向情緒樹)We human beings have different kinds of feelings. And it’s normal for us to have bad feelings sometimes. If you always feel unhappy, it’s not good for our health. I think you can learn from a girl. She’s 22 and comes from Hangzhou, China. She had a very famous expression“洪荒之力”. In English it’s called prehistoric power. Do you know who she is? Ss: She’s Fu Yuanhui.
T: Yes, you are right. Fu says that if you can finish 5 tasks today, you will get an invitation card to 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Are you ready for that? Ss: Yes. Pre-reading Task1:Mark T or F.
T: As we know, Fu finished 3rd in her semi-final swim. Now she’s in our class, and a reporter is interviewing her. Let’s watch a show from Li Yanqian and Wu Shuihan. You’ve to watch it very carefully, after watching you’ll mark T or F of the five comments of Fu.(老師請兩個班上的同學上臺表演傅園慧洪荒之力的采訪片段,并提問What do you think of Fu?學生集體回答Tor F之后再訂正答案。) Task2: Fill in the blanks.
T: As someone says , the world is so big and I want to go and have a look at it by myself. Of course there is something colorful and wonderful ,and there is also something bad and sad. Now
let me share some pictures with you and you are going to share your feelings with us. OK? Ss: OK.(老師出示昆蟲冰淇淋圖片并提問:What is it?) Ss: It’s icecream.
T: A shop in America has a special kind of icecream. There are so many bugs in it. They are crickets, grasshoppers and ants in it.(同義句:The icecream fills with bugs.老師教讀新單詞fill 及短語fill with ) We call it bug icecream.(緊接著老師提問:How do you feel at it?)
Ss: I feel … if/because/when…(請學生談論并分享對昆蟲冰淇淋的感受,結論是:Food can affect our feelings.)
T: (老師指著第二幅圖片提問)Look at this photo ,can you guess what his job is. Ss: He is a doctor.
T: That’s right. (請學生完成課件上針對這位網紅醫生發明的口罩的段落的填空,教師教讀新單詞especially和environment)
活動目的:利用學生感興趣的話題引到學生復習語法知識,be afraid of doing sth.,不定式表目的等。
(緊接著學生談論對這位醫生的看法I feel … if/because/when…,結論是:People can affect our feelings and moods.)
T: A great scientist passed away on March14th . Who is he ? Ss: He’s Stephen Hawking.
T: Yes. He was terribly ill when he was very young. He had trouble speaking and walking. (老師教讀單詞trouble和have trouble in doing sth. )Although he spent most of his time on the wheelchair, he still tried his best to study hard and wrote many great books. One of them is A Brief History of Time.(學生談論對霍金的看法I feel … if/because/when…,,老師引導學生意識到霍金取得如此大的成就的原因就是因為他遇到困難沒有放棄自己的學習)
T: Well, I feel very lucky because we human beings have a great man like him.(結論:News can affect our feelings.)
While-reading (Fast reading: Skimming) Task3: Answer the questions.
1、How many aspects(方面) that can affect our feelings are mentioned(提到) in the text? 2、What are they? Cross the wrong answer(s).
(學生快速閱讀課文內容,然后回答以上兩個問題,再歸納出閱讀策略:抓住關鍵詞能快速理解文章大意。)
1.Reading strategy: To grasp(抓住) the key words can help understand the main idea of a passage quickly.
Intensive reading: Scanning Task4: Give your suggestions.
老師帶領學生一起完成第一段的思維導圖,再提問:If someone feels very lonely, his or her eyes fill with tears. What should he/she do to feel happy again? Try to give your suggestions.
(老師帶領學生繼續完成第二段思維構圖,老師提問:If a person feels nervous in a noisy and crowded place, what can he do to feel better?學生完成寫作策略:寫作中學會用系表結構來描寫情緒。)
(學生齊讀第三段,找出兩個it所指代的對象,根據圖片來復述段落內容,老師提問: If you feel unhappy or sad on rainy days, what will you do to cheer yourselves up? 學生思考并說出具體做法。閱讀策略是:明確閱讀文章中代詞所指代的對象能夠幫助更清楚地理解文章。)
(學生自讀第四段填入空格完成句子,理解不同顏色都可以影響人的情緒,也表示我們的生活多姿多彩。學生完成寫作策略:寫作中要注意句子結構make sb. do sth.)
(學生齊讀第五段完成思維導圖,老師提問:If we feel sad and worried about the Wenchuan Earthquake, what should we do? 老師引到學生幫助地震災區的人民重建家園可以使他們開心,同時我們自己也會因為幫助別人收獲快樂。)
活動目的:通過談論如何解決別人的情緒問題引到他們思考該如何面對自己的不良情緒,由此建立一個良好的心態面對生活中的各種情緒問題。
在課文講解完成之后帶領學生一邊復習一邊完成黑板上的構圖(建筑物,云雨,彩虹,太陽;月亮,福娃等)
T:I hope this picture can help you retell the passage well. Task:5 Design a mind map.(Groupwork) 1.What big events do you know in the world ? 2.How did it/them affect your feelings?
(學生小組合作,思考生活中影響他們情緒的大事件并在6-7分鐘左右畫出思維導圖,2-3人設計,2人畫畫,1人做報告。然后是學生展示環節。)
思考:What else can affect our feelings and moods? Think about it and write a composition about it after class.
T:All of you did a very good job. We get the invitation to 2020 Tokyo Olympics now ! Congratulations!
結束語:Boys and girls , there are so many things that can affect our feelings. Please remember how you feel has huge impact on the happiness both in your life and in the lives of people you care about. Either you are happy or sad, talk to your family or friends about it. Don’t forget the key to a happy life is: Shared joy is a double joy, shared sorrow is half a sorrow.(快樂因分享而加倍,悲傷因分擔而減半!) Summary:

2.We learnt to express how things affect our feelings.
