教學目標
1、了解不同顏色所代表的含義。 2、認識并理解有關情緒的詞匯。 3、了解顏色與情緒之間的關系。 學情分析
學生已經能夠用英語表達各種顏色,并初步了解顏色的分類,這對進一步顏色的學習奠定了一定的基礎。此外,學生對顏色與人物情緒的關系也比較感興趣。 重點難點
1、有關表達情緒的詞匯。
2、顏色所代表的含義以及顏色與情緒之間的關系。 教學過程 Step1. Lead-in
1、Show some colorful pictures and black-white pictures to present the topic. How do you feel when you see these pictures? 2、There is a relationship between colours and moods.
Colours may influence our moods and make us feel happy or sad, energetic or sleepy. In some ways,
they represent different characteristics. Step 2. A small test.
1、Present some new words by a small test: Which color do you like best? Red You like red?
You love life & enjoy every minute of it. You are brave & open-minded. You are confident & curious.
Yellow Yellow is the color of happiness, joy and wisdom
If yellow is your favorite color, then you are a clever and smart person. You do have a lot of goals(目標), but you may give up before you reach them. You are also very creative. Blue You are thoughtful(體貼).
You can control your feelings. Also, you help your friends in need. You are hard-working and loyal.
Your good characteristic will help you achieve good results in life. Green Green is the color of nature.
You are shy, naïve(天真) and relaxed. You don’t like changes. You are patient and honest. You always trust and respect others.
But sometimes you are a little sensitive(敏感).
Step3.Reading
1.Listen and answer. What can colours do? 2.Read the text quickly and try to find out :
How many kinds of colours are talked about in the text? What are they?
3.Read the text about each colour carefully and finnish tthe task.
4.Work in pairs to talk about the relationship between colours and moods.Act them out. A: Excuse me, …. What is your favorite colour? B: I like … best. It represents …. A: Why do you like it? B: I like it because ….
A: What are your characteristics? B: I am ….
A: Does your favourite colour match your characteristics? B: …
5.Go over what we learnt this class by a memory test. What does “I am feeling blue” mean?
What colour do many women like to wear on their wedding day? Why? How do you feel when you see orange? How can orange help and what does it represent?
How do you feel when you see yellow and what does it represent? What colour can give you energy? Why?
When we say that someone is ______________. It means that he or she is very jealous(嫉妒). Step 4. Designing
Suppose you have a new bedroom, there is a bed, a bookcase, a desk, a chair, a lamp, curtains … in it. What colours do you want to paint them and why?
Work in groups of six and then share their works in class. Step 5. Homework Oral work:
Collect some idioms about colours and share them with your classmates. Written work:
Write about your favourite colour and give reasons.
