3. 情感目標Talk about table manners for a formal western dinner party:
Take your napkin and put it on your lap.
When you start eating, you should keep the fork in your right hand. If you use your knife, then put the fork in your left hand.
It’s polite to eat up the food on your plate, so don’t take more food than you need.
You should speak quietly and smile a lot.
When you drink to somebody, you’d better raise your glass and take

only a sip.

根據新課標的要求,要讓學生運用英語在真實的交流場景中體驗

語言,這就要求教師在課堂中尋找與實際生活切入的話題,設置真實的生活情景,調動學生全身器官去感知語言;通過運用語言過程去促進學生理解和掌握該語言。
本節課選取了西方餐桌禮儀這一生動有趣的話題,文章以西方餐桌禮儀為中心,重點學習了相關詞匯、詞組;深一步講解whether/ if 引導賓語從句用陳述句語序;讓學生掌握如何利用英語描述西方餐桌禮儀。
本課的優勢在于(1)本話題貼近實際生活,語言點可與實際生活相結合,易于引起學生的興趣;(2)本課亮點一:利用之前學生錄制的西方餐桌禮儀視頻引入1a課文,圖中為本校學生,容易吸引學生注意。視頻將復雜難懂的課文,通過動作展現給學生;(3)本課亮點二:學生在復述課文時,讓學生動手使用西方餐具,加深學生對于課文的理解。本課待提高之處:(1)學生在復述課文時,針對不同能力的學生,設置明顯目標梯度,讓學生“跳一跳,夠得著”才能增強學生學習英語的自信心;(2)whether/ if 賓語從句部分,練習數量欠佳,應該設置不同層次的題目讓學生多加練習,扎實掌握該知識點。有待提高之處,還望提出寶貴意見。
