Step1. Part3.Revision (1point)
Revise “so...that...and such...that...” by asking and answering, then read the example together【To some ss with poor English】 Step2. Lead in (1points)
Show some pictures to learn some new words [To make the reading easier] Step3. Reading
Task1: Read and find out the main idea of each paragragh. (3points)
Task2. Careful-reading (3points)
Read Para2 and finish 1b :find out the suggestions for dressing. Task3. Retell the passage according to 1b .[To grasp the main sentances and prepare for talking]
Task4. Listen and read after the tape in a low vioce, then,read themselves and deal with some language points.(1points) Step4.Part2. Discussion (4points)
1)work in groups and talk about what LiMing’s family should wear to the party.
2) read the example together 【To prepare for writing and to the ss with poor English】
Step5. Part4 . Make a survey in group of four (5points)
1)Survey your friends about what they like to wear and give some advice on dressing
2)Repot the survey to the class.(2points)
Step6. Life situation by asking some to be volluteers.
I opened a new clothing store ,I need some attendants. I will test if you are suitable for the job,you must learn how do make the customers buy the clothes and look good on them.
Step7. Moral aims:Knowing how to dress is very important,but
as a student,you should wear your school clothes at school,they will make you will look more lively and lovely.

How to dress suitable clothes
Fat... dark/cold colors ...smaller/slimmer/ thinner.....bright/light
short...soft colors/ no big contracts....look taller... Fancy designs /flowers
tall and thin... Warm...appear strong /full...cold colors broad waist...dark/cold-colored clothes...slimmer....bright/warm
