本課主要是一節(jié)閱讀課，根據(jù)《英語課程標準》及《英語教學(xué)大綱》的要求，在本節(jié)課的教學(xué)過程中，采用“小組合作“以及“任務(wù)型”的教學(xué)途徑，思維導(dǎo)圖及多媒體輔助教學(xué)，增強趣味性和直觀性，增大課堂容量，提高課堂效率，面向全體同學(xué)，在閱讀過程中幫助學(xué)生掌握知識、發(fā)展能力、形成正確的價值觀。 【教學(xué)目標】 1. 語言知識目標：
1) 學(xué)習掌握下列詞匯：object, magic, stick, hide, tail, turn…into, excite, western 2）閱讀短文，能按要求找到相應(yīng)的信息，提高學(xué)生們的閱讀能力。 3) 了解《西游記》中美猴王這一人物的大體情況。 2. 情感態(tài)度價值觀目標：
多閱讀中國傳統(tǒng)文學(xué)名著，讓學(xué)生們明白中國傳統(tǒng)文化的博大、精深，并吸取中國傳統(tǒng)文化中的精華。 【教學(xué)重難點】
1. 教學(xué)重點： 1) 掌握本部分出現(xiàn)的生詞和詞組，達到熟練運用的目標。 2) 閱讀短文，獲得相關(guān)的信息。通過閱讀練習，來提高閱讀能力。 2. 教學(xué)難點：1) 閱讀短文，獲得相關(guān)的信息的能力。
2) 理解并運用所學(xué)的詞匯及表達方式來講述故事。 【教學(xué)過程】Step 1 Lead-in
(情景1)Invite students to discuss the picture, to know the characters from Journey to the West. (Master:Monk Tang, Senior Brother :Monkey King, Second Brother:Piggy, Brother: Sandy and white horse.)
(情景2)1.Watch a video about the Monkey King; 2. Discuss pictures about the Monkey King.Introduce new phrases:turn himself into, make changes, and magic stick.

Read the passage quickly, and match the right main ideas of each paragraph. (Use the mind map to help master.)
Step 4 Careful reading
Read the three paragraphs, find out the details. Then retell three paragraphs.
Finish three questions of three paragraphs. Then Play the tape sentence by sentence, ask students to read after the tape.
