一、教材分析:
本模塊的Unit 2 是<<英語>> (新標(biāo)準(zhǔn))系列教材中MODULE 8的第二個(gè)單元,根據(jù)新標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的要求, 第二單元是以培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的讀寫能力為主,包括詞匯,語法的學(xué)習(xí)活動(dòng)。通過unit 1中談?wù)?ldquo;Tony的生日過程”的聽說活動(dòng),過渡到本單元“如何為他人選擇禮物”的讀寫活動(dòng),通過逐步遞進(jìn),由易到難的教學(xué)以及活動(dòng),培養(yǎng)學(xué)生基礎(chǔ)語言能力,閱讀能力和語言聽說能力的訓(xùn)練 , 最終實(shí)現(xiàn)聽說讀寫的綜合學(xué)習(xí), 實(shí)現(xiàn)本模塊的任務(wù)教學(xué)。 二、Teaching aims

使學(xué)生能從閱讀材料中尋找“選擇生日禮物”的信息,了解異國(guó)送禮習(xí)俗,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生樂于交友,樂于與他人合作,健康向上的品格。 五、Learning & teaching focus:
本節(jié)課是一節(jié)讀寫課。課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)要求要培養(yǎng)學(xué)生養(yǎng)成良好的閱讀習(xí)慣,指導(dǎo)學(xué)生運(yùn)用恰當(dāng)?shù)拈喿x方法獲取信息、處理信息。使學(xué)生能從閱讀材料中尋找“選擇生日禮物”的信息。

設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過分析照片導(dǎo)入話題,創(chuàng)設(shè)良好的語言活動(dòng)氛圍。引起學(xué)生興趣。 Step 2: Warming-up
1. Show some pictures, ask the students to look at the pictures, then talk something about the pictures.
2. Introduce the new words.
3. Read the new words by performing a little magic“Getting parts into one whole(變零為整)”。 4. Read through the list of presents and have the students repeat them after you chorally and individually
5. Brain storm, call back the answers from the whole class.
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:呈現(xiàn)本課新詞匯,通過圖片的展示創(chuàng)設(shè)了活躍的的語言情境,使學(xué)生在 樂趣中,將詞匯的音、形、意有機(jī)結(jié)合,加深對(duì)新詞匯的理解,為閱讀做好詞匯鋪墊。
