1) Words and phrases : passenger, hit, get off/ on the bus, move...onto, right away, get into trouble   
2.  Ability objective: Ss can understand the meaning of the passage by practicing using different ways of reading. 
3.  Moral objective: Encourage Ss to trust and help each other. Teaching main and difficult points 
1.  How to understand the passage and find out the sequence of story develoment. 2.  To understand the passage. Teaching Procedures: Step1: Lead in 
1. Lead in to the topic by watching a TV sketch “扶不扶” Step2:Pre-reading 
1.  Get Ss to look at the picture and the title of the passage on Page 3 , which can help them understand the main idea of the passage. Then finish Task 1.  1)  What is the passage mainly about? 
2)  Do you think this passage is from a newspaper or a story ? How do you know ? Step3:While-reading 
1.  Skim and find out the main idea of each paragraph.（Task 2） 2.  Scan and answer the questions.(Task 3) 
3.  Carefully read and fill in the chart,then retell the story.(Task 4) 4.  Carefully read ,then finish 3b and 3c Step4:Post-reading 
1.  Fill in the blanks with the important phrases  1.  Ss discuss the stress phrases in group. 2.  Ss do an interview with Wang Ping . 
3.  Do an interview in class about the topic “If you meet the same trouble , what will you do ?”  4.  Summary :We should try to trust others and help others! 5.  Group assessment Step5: Homework  1.  Retell the story .

閱讀前的準(zhǔn)備 呈現(xiàn)書本上的內(nèi)容插圖 呈現(xiàn)課文標(biāo)題 討論在圖片中看到的內(nèi)容。 朗讀標(biāo)題。 讓學(xué)生掌握新聞內(nèi)容可以通過圖片，標(biāo)題獲取文章大意的閱讀方法。 
閱讀中 
遞進(jìn)式呈現(xiàn)不同的閱讀任務(wù)： 1.歸納段落大意 2.任務(wù)表格 3.復(fù)述課文 4.判斷并改正句子。 5.同伴問答 運(yùn)用skimming, scanning ,查找細(xì)節(jié)，推理等閱讀方法反復(fù)閱讀課文內(nèi)容： 1.歸納段落主要意思； 2.小組討論完成信息表格； 3.朗讀課文，復(fù)述課文； 4.判斷句子正誤，并改正； 5.同伴問答。 1.通過提醒學(xué)生關(guān)注段落的開頭句子快速了解各段的大意，整體把握故事內(nèi)容 2.通過查找具體的信息，一方面訓(xùn)練學(xué)生掃描定位信息的閱讀能力，另一方面讓學(xué)生從整體到細(xì)節(jié)更具體的了解短文故事 
3.表格任務(wù)的設(shè)計(jì)是為了讓學(xué)生更好的梳理短文內(nèi)容，能夠發(fā)現(xiàn)故事敘述的順序，幫助學(xué)生有條理的復(fù)述課文 4.學(xué)生在語篇理解的基礎(chǔ)上能夠快速準(zhǔn)確地推理判斷，檢查學(xué)生是否更全面細(xì)致的理解了語篇。 
閱讀后 
1.呈現(xiàn)課文，空出重點(diǎn)短語。  2.圈出重點(diǎn)短語   3.提出“What do you think of Wang Ping ?”讓學(xué)生討論。 4.給出采訪的框架，讓學(xué)生小組合作開展采訪活動(dòng)。  5.組織學(xué)生現(xiàn)場(chǎng)采訪同學(xué)們“扶不扶”的話題 1.朗讀并快速填出所缺內(nèi)容   2.小組討論重點(diǎn)短語在語篇中的含義并探究用法  3.談?wù)搶?duì)王平的看法    4.小組活動(dòng)：扮演不同角色，再現(xiàn)王平的故事   5.學(xué)生隨機(jī)采訪遇到同樣的情況，扶不扶？幫不幫？ 1.檢查學(xué)生通過系列任務(wù)之后對(duì)語篇理解的程度，同時(shí)再次呈現(xiàn)重點(diǎn)短語。 
2.讓學(xué)生自己在語境中感悟猜測(cè)重點(diǎn)短語的含義，通過觀察，小組討論探究其用法。培養(yǎng)學(xué)生合作探究的學(xué)習(xí)能力。 3.此活動(dòng)引導(dǎo)學(xué)生認(rèn)識(shí)到王平行為背后的樂于助人的品質(zhì)。 4.一方面此活動(dòng)能檢測(cè)學(xué)生對(duì)語篇的掌握程度，另一方面能幫助學(xué)生生成自己的語言，達(dá)到理解運(yùn)用的目的。 5.活動(dòng)設(shè)計(jì)一方面解答課前導(dǎo)入時(shí)的問題，另一方面引
導(dǎo)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)王平樂于助人的品質(zhì)。 
總結(jié)評(píng)價(jià)  總結(jié)小組成績(jī)，評(píng)選優(yōu)秀小組 評(píng)選優(yōu)秀小組 小組之間的競(jìng)爭(zhēng)貫穿整節(jié)課，調(diào)動(dòng)學(xué)生參與的積極性。 作業(yè)
