一、教學目標: 1. 知識目標:
(1)能掌握以下單詞:
guitar, sing, swim, dance, chess, play chess, draw, speak, speak English, join, club 能掌握以下句型:
① —Can you play the guitar? —Yes, I can./ No, I can't. ② —What can you do? —I can speak English.
③ —What club do you want to join? —I want to join the chess club. (2) 能了解以下語法:情態動詞can的用法 want to do sth.的用法 2.能力目標:
通過本節課的學習,使學生能聽懂描述某人在某一方面所具備的才能的句子和對話;能口頭描述某人在某一方面所具備的才能及談論自己的喜好與意愿;能通過所學的句型表達來采訪同學們對課外活動看法和參與度。 3.情感目標:
本課時內容貼近學生的生活,通過學習培養學生參與各種英語活動的興趣。知道每一個人都是有所能而同時又是有所不能的,實現心理的健康和平衡,對自己的能力充滿自信同時對于他人的才能要持客觀和欣賞的態度,從而可以實現自我的快樂成長。也可以和周圍的人建立和諧融洽的關系。 二、教學重難點 1. 教學重點:
(1) 學習詢問和談論彼此的能力和特長; (2)掌握一些彈奏樂器的表達方式。 2. 教學難點:
情態動詞can的基本用法,即無人稱和數的變化。 能正確運用所學詞匯描述某人在某一方面的才能。
三、教學方法 1.多媒體教學法
通過展示形象的活動圖片,使學生直觀地學習并掌握詞匯,并能讓學生通過圖片感知.領會知識和具體實踐操作所學知識。 2.互動教學法
英語課堂離不開互動教學。所以在教學過程中采用師生互動和生生互動的方法完成教學任務來達到良好的教學效果,讓所有的知識都融會在語言交流中,簡化英語語法。這樣不至于使學生對英語有畏懼感,相反會讓學生漸漸喜歡英語并樂于學習這門課。 3.小組合作法
通過小組合作互助學習和調查法培養學生綜合運用語言能力,敢于表達的能力和互助合作精神。 四、教學過程 StepⅠ: Lead in
Play and teach a song“Can you sing?” to make the class active. 同時展示一些演奏樂器的圖片、聲音以及動作示范引出話題: I can play the guitar.然后詢問學生:Can you play the guitar?„.并引導學生進行簡單的回答。
【教學設計說明】本課時主要學習can的用法,因此采取視頻、音樂、圖片等導入法,調動學生參與學習的興趣并使學生更加直觀的了解本課內容,過渡簡單自然。 Step2:New presentation
出示一些反映各種活動的圖片、幻燈片或播放課件,引導學生談論活動: Show Ss the pictures and help Ss to understand the new words and key sentences. Help them to say what the person is doing in the picture. Ask Ss to read the new words, and make sure that everyone can understand the meanings and read them correctly. Then practice dialogues one by one.

1.Show kinds of pictures as quickly as possible. Let Ss say the new words and take turns to make small conversations in groups. S1: Can you swim?

2.Show pictures and guide Ss to practice and master the sentences of expressing abilities according to the signs of faces. T: What can you do? S1:I can paint. But I can’t swim.

3.Play a guessing game,ask students to guess what people can do by looking at the pictures and acting.

4.Show some pictures of disabled people ,guide Ss to talk about what they can do ,so that we can educate students to have a positive
attitude to the life and try to work hard and achieve their dreams. Step4:Listening
1. listen to the tape, find out the right conversation, and number them 1-3.
2. Work on 2a and 2b.
T: Now, look at the pictures on P2, listen to the four conversations. Just listen.
(Play the recording for the first time, students only listen carefully.) Then, listen to the recording again, and circle the clubs you hear and complete the sentences in 2b. Check the answers with the class. 【教學設計說明】此環節著重是聽力訓練。讓學生在聽對話的過程中抓住關鍵詞匯,由于前面已做了一些訓練,因此學生聽起來比較容易,讓他們都有一次成功的喜悅和感受,這樣可以增強他們的學習自信心。 Step5:Making a survey
1.Show kinds of clubs and guide some students to make a survey about what people can do and what clubs they want to join ,and complete the survey chart.

2.Ask some volunteers to do the report in front of class.
