1 New words and phrases : folk，goddess, whoever,steal ,lay out,dessert,garden, tradition 
2 learn the origin of the Mid-Autumn Festival  3 Retell the story of Hou Yi and Chang’e  
教學(xué)重點(diǎn)：understand the meaning of the passage  教學(xué)難點(diǎn)：Retell the story of Hou Yi and Chang’e  學(xué)情分析  
1 八年級學(xué)生已經(jīng)具有一定的語言基礎(chǔ)，但學(xué)生程度不一致，部分學(xué)生對難度較高的任務(wù)，完成有困難。 
2 大部分學(xué)生課堂都能專心聽講，積極主動(dòng)回答問題，但不分學(xué)生內(nèi)向，回答問題聲音較小，應(yīng)多鼓勵(lì)他們課堂勇語發(fā)言。 
3 有較強(qiáng)的記憶和模仿能力，部分學(xué)生表現(xiàn)欲較強(qiáng)，課堂要為他們搭建運(yùn)用語言的平臺(tái)。 教學(xué)活動(dòng) Step 1 Lead-in 
運(yùn)用翻轉(zhuǎn)課堂，課前搜集學(xué)生利用英語趣配音軟件完成的有關(guān)中秋節(jié)的視頻配音作業(yè)，挑選優(yōu)秀作業(yè)進(jìn)行播放，全體同學(xué)利用Pad 和 閱卷星系統(tǒng)進(jìn)行投票，進(jìn)行班級好聲音評選活動(dòng)。 
 
                    
             
                    
                            2 Ask some questions using the small gift( mooncakes ) T: What’s this? Do you like it ? When do you enjoy it ? How do you celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival? Step 2 Activity one (skimming) 
  Read 3a in groups , and choose some groups to show their reading. Learn the meaning of the passage . Using the mind map and pictures to understand the origin of the Mid-Autumn Festival. 
 Activity two (scanning ) 
  Read 3a for the second time, and discuss in groups. Answer some questions about the story of Hou Yi and Chang’e. Write down the keys words on the blackboard, and help students to retell the story. Encourage students to tell the story and role play the story .  Homework : recite 3a
