理解中秋節(jié)的由來，并能復(fù)述民間傳說。  三 情感態(tài)度與價值觀： 
增加學(xué)生對于中國傳統(tǒng)節(jié)日和文化的了解和熱愛，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的民族自豪感。 四 教學(xué)方法

Unit2 I think the mooncakes are delicious! 
Section A 3a--3c 
Step1 : Lending in 1.Warming up 
Let the students look at the picture and answer the two questions: What festival do you think of? What do you know about the festival? 設(shè)計(jì)意圖：通過Free talk讓學(xué)生了解中秋節(jié)的時間和內(nèi)容。 
2.Let the students know some other traditional folk stories about Mid-Autumn Festival.  
Wu Gang Cuts the Laurel 
It is said that there was an extremely tall laurel tree on the moon and a man called Wu Gang was ordered to cut down the tree as a punishment for offending the god of heaven. He was not allowed to go home until he could cut down the tree. But the problem was that each time he cut down the tree, it would quickly grow back, making it impossible for him to cut it down. Like Chang’e, he had no choice but to cut the tree on the moon forever.

Step2: listening 
Listen to the passage and try to get the main idea.

Look at the photo, the questions in 3a and the title to the story on page 11. Then answer the questions below. Who is the girl in the picture? What does the passage talk about? 
What’s the meaning of “Full Moon, Full Feelings”? 
設(shè)計(jì)意圖：讓學(xué)生通過快速閱讀進(jìn)一步了解文章大意和情感基調(diào)，訓(xùn)練學(xué)生閱讀理解和歸納的能力。 (2). Careful reading 
Read the passage about the Mid-Autumn Festival and answer the questions. 1.How do people celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival? 2.What story is the reading about? 
設(shè)計(jì)意圖：讓學(xué)生細(xì)讀文章了解中秋的傳統(tǒng)文化內(nèi)涵和由來，培養(yǎng)民族自豪感。 Read Para. 1 and answer the questions below. 1.What do we eat on Mid-Autumn Festival? 2. What do mooncakes look like? 
3. Why do we eat them on Mid-Autumn Festival? 設(shè)計(jì)意圖：讓學(xué)生細(xì)讀文章了解中秋的內(nèi)容和意義 Read Para. 2 and find what they have done. Pang Meng    became light and flew up to the sky. Chang’e      tried to steal the medicine 
Goddess      shot down the nine suns and saved the people on the earth              planned to drink the medicine with his wife. 
 Hou Yi      refused to give Pang Meng the medicine and drank it all  thanked Hou Yi by giving him magic medicine 
設(shè)計(jì)意圖：讓學(xué)生初步了解嫦娥的故事，了解這個故事的人物及所做的事情。 Step 4:  
3b  Read the passage again. Put the events in the correct order. ___  Pang Meng tried to steal the medicine. 
____ A goddess thanked Hou Yi by giving him magic medicine.  ____ Chang’e refused to give Pang meng the medicine and drank it all. ____ Hou Yi shot down the nine suns and saved the people on the earth. 
____ Hou Yi was very sad and watched the moon at night, and wished                   
his wife could come back. 
___ As a result, Chang’e became light and flew up to the sky. ____ Hou Yi planned to drink the medicine with his wife. 
設(shè)計(jì)意圖：學(xué)生完成排序3b，進(jìn)一步了解故事，讓學(xué)生按順序閱讀。  3c  Try to complete the sentences with the correct words. Let students finish this part. Then check the answers. 
設(shè)計(jì)意圖：通過填空讓學(xué)生進(jìn)一步掌握單詞的用法，PPT核對答案，同時注意書寫是否有錯誤。 Step 5: Activities

Retell the story by completing the blanks.
