I.The analysis of status and function(教學(xué)內(nèi)容分析)
It is the last period of unit 4,Grade 8 of Go for it. The language goal is to review the superlative forms of adjectives and adverbs. Students should know how to use superlatives to talk about their hometown and write. After studying target language, students are required to know the rules of superlatives and know how to write by using superlative degree.(本課時(shí)是人教版第四單元的最后一課時(shí)復(fù)習(xí)與寫作,本單元要求學(xué)生復(fù)習(xí)形容詞或副詞的最高級(jí)用法。在復(fù)習(xí)語法并進(jìn)行聽說訓(xùn)練后,學(xué)生要能掌握最高級(jí)的用法和變化規(guī)則并進(jìn)行寫作輸出。)
II. The analysis of the students(學(xué)情分析)
The students from Grade 8 have learnt English and have been trained English skills for more than one year, but most of them are afraid of the grammar. This theme of this lesson is about “Amazing China”, which is one of the popular topics recently, so it’s a great opportunity for them to practice speaking or writing because they are interested in them and have something to say and write. This class I’ll guide them to review the grammar step by step so that they will feel grammar is not that difficult as they imagine. I’ll attract them to join in the listening and speaking practice, then guide them to try to finish the writing practice after that.(八年級(jí)的學(xué)生已經(jīng)學(xué)習(xí)了英語,他們訓(xùn)練英語的學(xué)習(xí)技能有一年了,但大部分學(xué)生還是害怕語法。這節(jié)課的主題圍繞“厲害了,我的國”這個(gè)當(dāng)今的流行話題,因此這是一次很好的機(jī)會(huì)來練習(xí)語法,因?yàn)閷W(xué)生會(huì)很感興趣且有內(nèi)容說和寫。在這節(jié)課我會(huì)帶領(lǐng)他們復(fù)習(xí)最高級(jí),并讓他們感覺語法并不是他們想象中那么難。因此我會(huì)吸引他們加入到課堂的聽說活動(dòng)中,之后引導(dǎo)他們進(jìn)行寫作的訓(xùn)練。)

VII. Teaching Procedure(教學(xué)步驟) Step1: Let’s warm up! -----A quiz(知識(shí)競答)
To begin with, I’ll let students play an interesting game. It’s a quiz about some geographic knowledge and some great achievements of China. Students need to answer the questions as fast as they can. And they can get a clue as the award. The more clues they get, the closer they’ll get to the answer to the puzzle. The winner group who get the answer can get the award. This game and the competition among the groups can arouse students’ interest. (該堂課是通過一個(gè)知識(shí)競答來導(dǎo)入課堂,知識(shí)競答是關(guān)于我國的一些地理常識(shí)以及我們國家的一些最新成就。學(xué)生需要搶答并得到裝有線索的信封。小組得到的線索越多,越接近最后謎題的答案。而得到答案的小組可
以得到最后的獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)。這個(gè)知識(shí)搶答以及小組競爭的游戲極大地調(diào)動(dòng)了學(xué)生的積極性,學(xué)生起立搶答激發(fā)出了學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)熱情和激情,使學(xué)生進(jìn)入了良好的心理準(zhǔn)備狀態(tài),為他們能全神貫注的開展后面的學(xué)習(xí)打下了基礎(chǔ)。
Step2: Let’s review!-----Superlative(復(fù)習(xí)最高級(jí))
Review the superlatives by talking about the sentences from the quiz. The sentences become more and more difficult and students need to finish the sentences by using the superlatives.(這一環(huán)節(jié)再次利用知識(shí)競答中的句子進(jìn)行練習(xí),句子由易到難,由學(xué)生利用最高級(jí)來談?wù)搱D片。)

Step4:Let’s listen!----Amazing City! (聽說練習(xí))
In this step, students have known the great achievements in our country and let students listen to a passage and finish the tasks. After listening, students will watch the video about amazing cit, and talk about the places and things in the video.(在總結(jié)歸納復(fù)習(xí)完最高級(jí)語法后,學(xué)生開始進(jìn)行聽 說訓(xùn)練,為后面能順利寫作做好鋪墊。該聽力為我們家鄉(xiāng)十堰的一段介紹。聽力要求學(xué)生聽 出所談?wù)摰某鞘胁⒂浵挛闹谐霈F(xiàn)的最高級(jí)。聽完后讓學(xué)生總結(jié)了所聽到的內(nèi)容為十堰的名片 “仙山秀水汽車城”并將聽力文稿中所聽到的最高級(jí)寫出來。接下來再次以視頻的形式直觀 地展示十堰,并要求學(xué)生談?wù)撘曨l里出現(xiàn)的十堰一些著名的地點(diǎn)或事物,為后面小組活動(dòng)做 好準(zhǔn)備。)
Step5:Let’s work in group.
Students work in groups to talk about the best places or things in our city. Group members need to roll the dice and use the superlative degree of the word on the dice.
小組談?wù)摷亦l(xiāng)十堰最好的地方或者東西。要求小組內(nèi)每人扔一次骰子(骰子上是形容詞或副詞原級(jí)),并用骰子上的單詞的最高級(jí)來談?wù)撨@個(gè)話題。該活動(dòng)旨在動(dòng)員學(xué)生人人都參與口語表達(dá)的活動(dòng)中。
Step6:let’s guess!---answer to the puzzle.
After practicing the grammar, it’s time to discuss the answer to the puzzle.統(tǒng)計(jì)各組獲得的線索,此時(shí)小組可以打開信封,小組一起討論謎題的答案(答案為北京)。小組組長運(yùn)用希沃授課助手和平板進(jìn)行搶答(6個(gè)小組長在平板上按下數(shù)字自己代表的數(shù)字,排在第一位的數(shù)字即得到回答的機(jī)會(huì)),回答正確的小組獲勝。讓學(xué)生讀出所得到的線索,并說出為什么你認(rèn)為答案是北京。其中還有圖片線索,讓學(xué)生完成拼圖得到完整圖片為長城,也和本課開端的知識(shí)競答相呼應(yīng)。最后老師引導(dǎo)學(xué)生總結(jié)談?wù)摫本┑乃悸罚⒄铣伤季S導(dǎo)圖,即我們可以從歷史、景點(diǎn)、人口、大學(xué)、食物、天氣、交通、藝術(shù)形式、建筑等方面來談?wù)摫本瑸楹竺婺茼樌M(jìn)行寫作打好基礎(chǔ)。 Step7:Let’s write!
After the discussion of Beijing, it’s time to write Beijing by using the mind map. 北京即將舉辦冬奧會(huì),寫一封邀請(qǐng)函邀請(qǐng)全世界人民來北京。最后學(xué)生寫作在前面聽說訓(xùn)練以及寫作思路的準(zhǔn)備工作后,學(xué)生可以很順利的使用最高級(jí)進(jìn)行寫作輸出。寫作后,展示兩名學(xué)生的文章并做以點(diǎn)評(píng),標(biāo)記出里面的優(yōu)秀句子供學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)。
Step8: Let’s enjoy!
A sample is given to students and let students read it with full of feelings.最后給學(xué)生一篇范文供學(xué)生欣賞學(xué)習(xí),幫助學(xué)生提升寫作水平。寫作后,學(xué)生欣賞一段厲害了我的國的一段快閃視頻,將愛祖國愛家鄉(xiāng)的情感再次升華,讓學(xué)生帶著民族自豪感和民族自信心,大聲的朗讀出“We’re Chinese, we’re proud, we have confidence in culture, we have confidence in China.”
Step9 Homework (作業(yè))
Write an introduction about our hometown—Shiyan. 在學(xué)會(huì)了使用最高級(jí)描述某個(gè)城市的寫作技巧后,學(xué)會(huì)進(jìn)行遷移,來寫一篇關(guān)于自己家鄉(xiāng)的介紹。 VIII. Blackboard Design(板書設(shè)計(jì))
