Step1 Warm-up
1. Greet the students and introduce myself
2. By reading a tongue twister to lead in the bad communication between Sad and Thirteen and his family.
Step 2 Letter 1
Pre-reading
Listening and presentation.
While-reading
Answer questions and finish a mind-map of the letter1.
Step 3 Letter 2
Pre-reading
Listening and presentation.
While-reading
Answer questions and finish a mind-map of the letter1.
Step 4 Post-reading
Retell the two letters according to the mind -map.
Step 5 Discussion and report
Team work
Team leader chooses a problem in the bottle .Discussion and solve the problem with the whole team.After that,the team makes a report.
Group work
Watch a video about relation between parents and their children.Then debate.
Do you think your parents can understand you ?What do you think of the relation between parents and their children? Put the whole class into two parts:Understand vs Can’t understand.
Step 5 Summary
1. Let some students to share their ideas on how to communicate with their parents.
2. Understand the love between parents and children, teachers and students.
Step 6 Homework
Master the structure of the mind-map that we have learn this class.Write a passage to give the children some advice on how to get along with their parents.
