Teaching Plan
Given By: Wu Shangping (吳尚萍) Contents: Unit 4 We Love Animals. Part A Let’s learn Teaching aims and demands:
1. Ask them to learn the five new words about animals: duck, pig, bear, cat, dog.
2. Ask them can use the sentence “ What’s this ?” It’s a/an-----
3. Let them do the hand shadows about the animals. (duck, pig, bear, cat, dog.)
4. 向學生滲透《中華人民共和國野生動物保護法》,使學生明白野生動物是受國家保護的,不能隨意捕殺。 Teaching important and difficult points:
1.Ask them can understand the words: duck, pig, bear, cat, dog.
2.Ask them can use the five new words into the sentence “ What’s this ?” It’s a/an-----
Teaching preparation: Teaching courseware, English word cards and animal pictures. Teaching steps:
Step1 Warming/ Revision 1. Greetings.
2. Sing a song “Hello”song
3 Review the old words: pen, pencil,ruler, eraser, crayon. Step2 Presentation Let’s Learn
(1) Learn the new words
A. Play the tape about the volice of a dog, and ask them to guess,Who is it? If they guess right it, the teacher encourage them.and then show the picture to them. At the mean while ,put up the picture and the English words on the blackboard.Follow me to read it.
B. Using the same ways to teach them to learn the other four new words. (duck, pig, bear, cat,.)
(2) (2).Teach them to learn hand shadow about the animals. (duck, pig, bear, cat, dog.) Step3 Pracice
(1) The teacher and students practice each other, when the teacher to act hand shadow, the students speak it in English. If the teacher speak it in English ,the student to act hand shadow.
(2) Give them five minutes to practice,one student acts hand shadow, another student speaks English,and then exchange.
(3) Play the teaching courseware,ask them to look,listen and say.
(4) Ask them to do exercise together. Step4 Extension/consolidation
(1)Play a short video,ask them to look carefully,and then answer the questions
Questions: 通過觀看圖片,同學們了解到什么知識?
(2)結合所學內容,向學生介紹《中華人民共和國野生動物保護法》通過看圖片,讓學生知道它們都屬于動物,是我們的朋友,保護它們就是保護我們自己 (3)Play a game( find pictures ) (4)Summing up the contents (5)listen to a song Step 5 Homework
Ask them to listen and repeat “Let’s learn “ Design of Bb: Unit 4 We Love Animals.
