教材簡析:
本課談論的話題是周末活動,學生已在4B Unit2 After school和5A Unit4 Hobbies中掌握許多有關課外活動和業余愛好的詞匯。涉及的周末活動有上網和遠方家人聊天、放風箏、看電影、野餐等,在教學中可利用照片或多媒體呈現一些孩子周末活動的情景。根據學生的年齡特點與本課文結構,教學中可以采用思維導圖等方式,培養學生思維能力,讓學生在愉悅輕松的氛圍中掌握所學知識。
教學目標:
1.理解、掌握對話內容,能用正確的語音語調朗讀對話,并初步表演對話。 2.能正確運用日常交際用語:What do you do at weekends? I always\ usually\ often\ sometimes . . .
3. 能聽懂、會說、會讀單詞:at weekends, grandparents, play with, very much, chat, Internet, go to the cinema, a lot, come out, get out.
4. 能運用思維導圖將課文描述出來,并能根據思維導圖復述課文。 教學重點:
1. 能正確理解對話內容,朗讀對話,初步表演對話。
2. 能聽懂、會說、會讀單詞:at weekends, grandparents, play with, very much, chat, Internet, go to the cinema, a lot.

Step1 lead-in
1. Free talk
T: How are you today? S: ...
T: I like apples. What do you like? S: ...
T: I like swimming. What do you like doing? S: ...
T: great. I like singing too. Let’s sing a song together. 2. Enjoy a song < On Saturdays and Sundays>
【設計意圖】通過free talk 和song引入,營造輕松愉快的學習氛圍。激活舊知,復習以前學過的句型。What do you like?和What do you like doing? 是學生上一個單元所學內容,容易混淆,在提問時先由教師引導,有助于幫他們分清楚這兩個句型。
Step2 Presentation
1. Teach “at weekends”
T: What’s the song about? S: It’s about Saturday and Sunday.
T: Great! (出示日歷) we know there is Saturday and Sunday in a week. And we call Saturday and Sunday “weekend”. Read after me. T: What about Saturdays and Sundays?
S: We call them “weekends”. (ds字母音重點強調,展示birds ,beds讓學生感受)
Ss read in groups. 揭題 Unit7 at weekends.
【設計意圖】通過日歷的形式,從 Saturday and Sunday 到 weekend 到weekends一步步引入。在教授ds發音的時候,用birds和beds這兩個學過并且熟悉的詞,體會ds的發音。
2. Review the word phrases
T: We know, we can do many thing at weekends. What can you do at weekends? S: At weekends, I can play football/basketball/the piano...(ppt顯示 “What can you do at weekends?” “At weekends, I can ...”)
【設計意圖】由舊知引入新知,將I can 句型與At weekends融合,學生較好上手。
3. Play a game
T: Well. Your weekends are so nice! You can do so many things at weekends. Let’s play a game. I need a boy and a girl to pk. Others can speak loudly to help them. Are you ready?
【設計意圖】利用希沃白板5的游戲功能,讓學生邊做游戲邊復習動詞詞組,打破以往學生magic eyes的老套路,用pk方式激起學生的積極性,為了勝利底下的男女兩隊同學大聲的讀單詞,達到了復習的功能。
4. Teach “ always, usually, often, sometimes”
T: You all did a good job. Do you want to know my weekends? S: yes.
T: Look, here are some books. (將書本圖片放在日歷的周六一欄) I read books at weekends.
(ppt 展示周日一欄也都是書本) look, I read books every Sundays and Saturdays. That means I always read books. (teach “always”)
根據周六周日欄的圖片多少不同,教授usually ,often 和sometimes 用柱狀圖畫出四個詞的頻率不同。
T: Now, can you say something about me? (將剛剛所展示的讓學生復述一遍) 【設計意圖】運用圖片在周六周日兩欄的數量以及柱狀圖的展示,讓學生直觀的感受到4個頻率詞的不同,對本單元的語法知識能有初步概念。
5. Teach “chat on the Internet”
教師利用希沃白板5中的板中板功能,展示watch + at → chat (開火車讀) Internet 分音節 in ter net 讀,再將整個詞組連起來讀。 注意這里的the 讀[ði].
【設計意圖】運用板演功能,一步步從學生已知的單詞發音→字母發音→組合發音,從局部到整體,這樣不僅利于學生對單詞發音的記憶,更有利于學生對于單詞拼寫的記憶。
6. Group talk.
T: You know me so well, what about you? Please ask your partners. A: What do you do at weekends? B: I always/usually...

【設計意圖】輸出運用所學句型。
7. Story time
(1) Watch and answer
T: Our friends are talking about their weekends too. Let’s see who are they? S: They are Mike, Helen, Su Hai and Su Yang. (2) Su Hai and Su Yang’s weekends
a. Listen and choose
T: first let’s see Su Hai and Su Yang’s weekends. Please listen and choose.
What do Su Hai and Su Yang do at weekends? A. visit their grandparents B. fly a kite C. play with Kitty
D. have dinner with grandparents E. have dancing lessons

T: Great! (teach “visit” 利用希沃5里面的字典功能) b. Let’s read (逐句跟讀,標好重音和聲調)
c. Let’s retell (給予學生思維導圖,利用思維導圖復述課文) (3) Helen’s weekends (教授學生繪畫思維導圖)
T: The mind map is excellent. Do you like it? Let’s learn how to draw it. a. ppt給予提示,教師帶領學生一步步閱讀、劃關鍵詞、圈頻率副詞,讓學生體驗繪畫思維導圖。
A. 快速瀏覽對話 B. 劃出關鍵詞組 C. 圈出頻度副詞 D. 完成思維導圖 教師黑板板書校對。
b. Let’s retell (讓學生根據思維導圖復述Helen’s weekends) (4) Mike’s weekends (讓學生自己根據步驟繪畫思維導圖)

學生自己根據步驟,閱讀、劃關鍵詞、圈頻率副詞,最終畫好Mike 的思維導圖。教師黑板板書校對。 b. Complete the blanks

【設計意圖】教授story time 的環節是從感知思維導圖到學生會畫思維導圖的過程。在一開始Su Hai and Su Yang’s weekends的時候,給學生展示出思維導圖,并讓他們根據復述。在Helen’s weekends 教授學生繪畫過程,一步步帶著學生一
起劃、圈、畫。在Mike’s weekends過程徹底放手,讓學生根據剛剛所授過程,自己繪畫,掌握思維導圖的技巧。

【設計意圖】通過書面的輸出和與班級同學的分享,將本單元所學內容綜合起來。在寫作環節,教師在ppt上給予一些動詞詞匯,幫助班里一些能力不足的學生,讓他們覺得寫作不是難事,培養他們寫作的信心。
