本課的話題是Life in the future。本課的功能主線是:Describe your future life。

2學情分析
處于青春期的初二學生好奇好勝,喜歡與同伴相處,希望得到他人的肯定,但個體之間、認知水平均存在差異,因此本節課將采用小組合作學習的方式,包括小組討論、小組競賽、小組展示等形式,以達到小組成員互助互促的目的。
3重點難點
教學重點:
因為本節課是復習課,因此所定的教學內容以4個功能點所輻射出的詞匯和句型為主�；诖四康�,將本節課的重點學習內容定為:
3個詞匯:fewer,less,more
2組句型:There will be…. There won’t be….
People will …. People won’t ….
教學難點:
1.在詞匯方面,fewer,less,more在運用上,不少學生還是較易混淆,因此需要大量地操練和記憶活動來幫助學生掌握。
2.在句型方面,There will be…. There won’t be….的句型,學生常用中式思維來翻譯,因此需要大量的操練和記憶,運用各種活動(朗讀、記憶游戲、記時游戲等)來幫助學生掌握并準確運用。

Step 1 Fluent speaker (15 min)
Practice the sentence patterns in four aspects.

There won’t be….
…will/won't …
Students talk about their predictions in four aspects with WORD BANK.
Step 2 Creative thinking (8 min)
Invite students to write down the creative sentences in four aspects on the white board. Then share them with the whole class.
Step 3 Task--- Imaginative mind (Our future life)
Groupwork: Describe your future life
1. Write down the phrase or sentences
S1: Beginning (topic sentence)
S2: Body1---Study
S3: Body2---Housing
S4: Body3---Free-time activities
S5: Body4---Environment
S6: Ending (feelings or ideas)
2. Show your predictions about the future life
