一、Teaching Aims： （一）知識(shí)目標(biāo)：
1．單詞：tonight, little, a little ,may,cinema,glasses,later 2．句型： What does he/she look like? He/She has short hair.
Is he tall or short? He isn’t tall or short.
(二)能力目標(biāo)：
1．培養(yǎng)聽說能力。
2．能抓住人物的主要特征來描述人物的外貌。
3．能概括人物的外貌特征并根據(jù)人物特征推理出人物。 （三）情感目標(biāo)：
教育學(xué)生要多發(fā)現(xiàn)別人的優(yōu)點(diǎn)，學(xué)會(huì)贊美別人。 二、教學(xué)重點(diǎn)：
掌握本課新單詞和鞏固句型和熟練掌握描述人物外貌的方法。 三、教學(xué)難點(diǎn)：
熟練掌握描述人物外貌的方法并成功地根據(jù)人物特征推理出某一人物。 四、學(xué)習(xí)策略：1.通過圖片和提示詞描述他人外貌。
2.在學(xué)習(xí)中積極參與小組合作，通過競(jìng)爭(zhēng)激發(fā)學(xué)習(xí)興趣。 五、Teaching Procedures： Step I.1.Warming-up
(1).Games. “That’s me.” (2) Revision:
a. Revise the description words of the people’s look.（ Check yourselves,put the words into the right box. Let the Ss find the difference between “is”or“has” and pay attention to how to use “is”or“has”.） Short hair,curly hair, long straight hair, of medium height, thin, tall,
short, heavy.

Step II.
1.Activity2a,
Let the Ss listen Activity 2a carefully, circle“is”or“has”.Then answer the questions.
(1).Is David tall or short? _____________________________

2.Listen the conversations again and fill in the blanks.finish2b. Then say something about the students’look．(e.g. David is tall and heavy．And he has curly hair.) David Sally Peter is heavy, tall has

3.Check the answers.
4. Pair work. Describe David, Sally, Peter’s appearances according to the information of 2b.
