Unit 8 Have you ever read Treasure Island yet? Writing
Teaching aims : to use “have/has done”to write an article about your favorite singer or
writer.
Teaching importance: write an article about a singer or writer.
Teaching difficulties: to express the feelings about the songs or books. Teaching Procedures:
Step 1. Warm up (1) daily greetings
(2) Enjoy a song “Believe yourself” and talk about your feelings Step 2. Lead in
(1) Do you enjoy listening to music? (2) Do you enjoy reading fictions ? Step 3. Free talk
(1) name some kinds of music (rock music; country music; pop music; classical music; movie music; light music...)
(2) how do you feel when you listen to these music ?
(relaxed, beautiful , moved , popular, powerful, cool, excited , energetic, peaceful, calm ....) (3) name some famous writers in China. Step 4. Writing
(1) 要求： 本單元以“文學和音樂”為話題，學習運用現在完成時態：have/has done. 談論已經讀過書和已聽過的音樂。書面表達要求同學們能夠根據所學內容，寫一篇文章關于你喜歡的一位歌手或者作家及其他（她）的作品，注意正確使用時態。 (2) Writing methods
