賓語是動作、行為的對象，是動作的承受者。 位于謂語動詞或者介詞后
賓語從句是主從復合句的一種。主從復合句是由一個主句和一個或一個以上的 從句構成的。
賓語從句就是從句充當主句中的賓語。 賓語從句三要素
引導詞（連接詞） 語序 時態 （一）引導詞
1.由從屬連詞that引導的賓語從句
2.由從屬連詞whether, if引導的賓語從句
3.由連接代詞Who,whom,whose,which,what和連接副詞where,how,why,when引導的賓語從句
由從屬連詞that 引導的賓語從句
注：that 在句中無詞匯意義，在從句中不能充當成分，在口語當中往往省略 e.g.
I hear (that) _______________________. He said (that) ______________________.
The teacher told us (that) _______________ ________________. 由從屬連詞 whether, if 引導的賓語從句 if/ whether “是否”，說明對陳述的事物不明確或不清楚。常用在ask, wonder, can(could) you tell me 等后。
1. Ask him if (whether) he will go to the park with us
2. I wonder if (whether) he will go to the park with us
3. Could you tell me if (whether) he will go to the park with us ? 只能用whether不能用if 的情況 1. 在介詞后面：
• I’m thinking of whether we should go fishing.
• We are worried about whether it will rain tomorrow.
2. 在動詞不定式前(whether to do sth.) ：
• They asked me whether to go skating. 3.當與or not連用，或提出兩種選擇時:
• I don’t know whether he’s free or not.
• Mary asked whether I was doing my homework or not. • Tell me whether you’d like to go shopping or tidy the room. 4. 賓語從句提前時：
• Whether this is true or not, I can’t say. Practice time if / whether
1. I asked her __________ she had a bike. 2. We’re worried about ________ he is safe. 3. I wonder ___________ he is well.
4. I don’t know ________ or not he is well. 5. I don’t know _______ to go.
由連接代詞Who,whom,whose,which,what和連接副詞where,how,why,when引導的賓從 代詞或副詞連接主句和從句，并在從句中擔任句子成分，具有一定的意義，不可省略。 1. He asked _____________________________. 2. Do you know_________________________? 3. He asked_______________________________. 4. Do you know _________________________? 5. Please tell me _____________.
6. Can you tell me ________________________? 7. Could you tell me _________________ Practice time
what, which, who, whom, when, why, where, how, whatever, whoever… The teacher asked I was late today.
Do you still remember he said in the meeting? Do you know they are waiting for?
Can you tell me country you are from, America or England? I really want to know your hometown is. No one knows they opened the box. 二、語序
賓語從句的語序用陳述語序： 連接詞+主語+謂語+其他成分
主句+連接詞+從句（主+謂+其他成分） 1. When will he go to the library?
His brother asks when he will go to the library . His brother asks when will he go to the library . 2. What did he want to buy ?
I don’t know what did he want tobuy .
I don’t know what he wanted tobuy . 注：當從句的原句為以下句子
以及what, who作主語時，語序不變 What’s wrong? What’s the matter? What’s happening? What happened? eg:
I don’t know what’s the matter. Can you tell me who is over there? Can you tell me who he is ? Practice time
1. Someone is ringing the doorbell. Go and see_______.
A. who is he B. who he is C. who is it D. who it is
2. Can you make sure _______ the gold ring?
A. where Alice had put B. where had Alice put C. where Alice has put D. where has Alice put
否定的轉移
若主句謂語動詞為think, consider, suppose, believe, expect, guess, imagine等， 其后的賓語從句若含有否定意義，一般要把否定詞轉移到主句謂語上，從句謂語用肯定式。 I don’t think this dress fits you well. 我認為這件衣服不適合你穿。 I don’t think you are right. 我認為你是錯的。
我認為你今天無法完成工作
I don’t believe you will finish the work today.
三、時態
1. 主句用現在時或將來時，從句可用任何時態， 根據實際情況而定。
I know he lives here .
I know he lived here ten years ago .
I have heard that he will come tomorrow .
2.如果主句是過去的時態（一般過去時，過去進行時）， 從句的時態一定要用相對應的過去的某種時態
（一般過去時，過去進行時，過去將來時，過去完成時） I knew who lived here.
I saw she was talking with her mother.
He asked whether his father would come back tomorrow. He said that he had seen it .
3. 從句說明的是一般真理、客觀事實、自然現象時， 仍用一般現在時。
Dad told us that it is better to do than to say. He told the boy that three and three is six. He told me the earth moves around the sun.
4. 從句中有具體時間狀語，即使從句動作發生 在主句動作前，仍用一般過去時。
The teacher told me she was born in 1960. I heard that he went to Paris last night.

1.賓語從句的三種類型及其引導詞的選擇。 (1)以that引導(that無詞義�？墒÷�)。 (2)以if 或whether引導(意為“是否”)。 (3)以連接代詞或連接副詞引導。
2.賓語從句的時態，尤其是主句為過去式時，從句的時態選用。
3.賓語從句中，從句部分都是真理性的，則時態不隨主句改變，永遠用一般現在時。
4.賓語從句的語序，即從句部分應為陳述句語序。尤其要注意引導詞：或whether引導的賓語從句及以連接代詞或連接副詞引導的賓語從句。
