一、教材分析
本課為本單元聽說課，通過談?wù)搫游飯@里動物和寵物的對話，訓(xùn)練學(xué)生的聽說技能，鞏固本單元所學(xué)語言知識，同時培養(yǎng)學(xué)生愛動物愛生活的積極生活態(tài)度。
二、 教學(xué)目標(biāo)
（一）知識目標(biāo)：
1. To describe animals by using new words as follows:
kind of, Australia, south, Africa, South Africa, pet, leg, cat, sleep
2. To express preferences on animals
-- Why do you like koalas?
-- Because they’re very cute.
-- Why don’t you like …?
-- Because they’re ….
3. To talk about where animals are from.
-- Where are they from?
-- They are from China.
4. To master pronunciation skills –liaison (連音)and sense group（意群）.
5. To know more about animals and love animals.
（二）技能目標(biāo)：
1.全班學(xué)生能聽懂聽力材料內(nèi)容，準(zhǔn)確完成聽力任務(wù)并提高從聽力材料中抓取關(guān)鍵信息的能力。
2.全班學(xué)生能夠?qū)W會用where和 why進(jìn)行提問和回答的方式。
3.全班學(xué)生能夠談?wù)搫游铩?br />
（三）情感目標(biāo)：
動物和人類都生活在同一地 球上，動物是我們的朋友。我們?nèi)祟悜?yīng)該與動物和諧相處，共同生存。我們應(yīng)當(dāng)學(xué)會關(guān)愛動物，保護(hù)動物。
（四）文化意識：
了解動物身份證并嘗試為自己的寵物制作身份證。
三、重點、難點
(一) 教學(xué)重點：
掌握動物名稱，描述動物特點的形容詞，why引導(dǎo)的特殊疑問句及簡答
(二) 教學(xué)難點：
學(xué)會運用描述性形容詞并結(jié)合程度副詞對事物進(jìn)行描述
四、學(xué)情分析
（一） 知識基礎(chǔ)
學(xué)生已具備一些關(guān)于動物的詞匯與表達(dá)，但不能準(zhǔn)確描述動物特征和分布；
（二）認(rèn)知水平
學(xué)生主動、積極，具備一定的邏輯思維能力，但缺乏批判性思維能力；
（一）情感動機(jī)
學(xué)生對關(guān)于動物的話題感興趣，熱愛動物但不能完全理解寵物對于人類的意義。
