教學指導思想和理論依據
《普通高中英語課程標準》指出,“知識是語言能力的有機組成部分,是發展
語言技能的重要基礎。”高中階段語言知識的學習要以語用為目的,要把知識的學習與語言實踐活動緊密結合起來。所以本堂課設計的核心任務就是:讓學生描述身邊的人所發生過的受傷事件,介紹其受傷癥狀及處理方法。 同時,《課標》還指出,“英語教學的任務設計一般遵循下列原則:1)任務應有明確的目的; 2)任務應具有真實意義,即接近現實生活中的各種活動;3)任務應涉及信息的接收、處理和傳遞等過程; 4)學生應在完成任務的過程中使用英語; 5)學生應通過做事情完成任務; 6)完成任務后一般應有一個具體的成果。”因此,在本節課之初,首先布置核心任務——讓學生寫關于受傷事件的報道。該任務設計與單元話題高度相關,情境真實。而后為完成此核心任務,學生進行了大量的語言學習和操練,最終完成對受傷事件的報道。
單元/課時學習內容分析
本單元的中心話題是“急救”。熱身部分給出了“急救”的定義,并通過討論各種需要急救的情況喚起學生已有的急救知識。閱讀的主課文“First aid for burns”為一篇分類介紹的說明文,其中詳細介紹了燒傷的原因、程度、癥狀特征、急救措施,是本單元學習其他方面急救知識的基礎。語言運用部分講述了一

個果斷采取急救措施,拯救生命的故事。根據本單元內容,課時安排如下: Period1: Warming up & reading Period2: Language in use Period3: Grammar

本節課是本單元第二課時,第一課時完成了對主課文“First Aid for Burns”的閱讀教學,學生了解了不同程度燒傷的癥狀及相應的急救措施,清楚急救處理的步驟。本節課從回顧課文詞匯開始,使學生在比較熟悉的語境中接觸語言,以調動學生原有的知識基礎。而后結合本單元的話題,采用多變的方式呈現例句,讓學生通過觀察、體驗的方式發現語言規律并加以歸納,進行操練,為最后輸出作好鋪墊。所選詞匯既是課標詞,又是話題詞匯,且均為常用動詞,包括(variety, mild, squeeze, get done)
學生基本情況簡介
基本情況:
我所任教的班級是一所農村寄宿制普通高中高二理科實驗班。學生的英語基礎稍差,口、筆頭表達能力薄弱。但學生了解合作學習的方式和意義,并且樂于通過主動學習與交流獲取知識與技能。但是,由于環境等因素的限制,學生社會經驗較少,對“急救”相關知識了解不多,相關英語表達有困難。根據這一情況,本節課將通過小組合作探究的方式,豐富學生的急救知識、規范其表達。 認知特點:
高二學生正處于身心快速發展的關鍵期,愿意接觸現實生活中的方方面面,更樂于通過主動學習與交流來獲取知識與技能。所以,在了解了燒傷急救的相關知識之后,渴望了解更多的急救知識及準確表達的方法。 已有知識:
通過上一節課的閱讀理解,學生已經清楚了要根據燒傷的程度給出相應的急救措施,熟悉了處理燒傷的相關詞匯。
教學手段
根據學生的基本情況和本節課的學習內容,為了使學習效果更有效,我采用了投影、學案等教學手段。通過師生、生生互動,教師引導,學生討論,小組合作等方式實現課本知識向實際運用的轉化。同時,激發學生的求知欲,培養學生分析問題、解決問題的能力。
