創新點:1. Ss are asked to make a story based on the objects they choose from a different perspective. 2. Ss are asked to write the composition and appreciate the distinguished points from others. 3. Ss are asked to be the examiner of College Entrance Examination to predict the topic.
學情分析:Target Ss are Junior high school students. They are active in class but may be not good at grammar in English.Through making a story and writing a composition, they will have a good command of grammar. 教學目標: Students will be able to
1. make a story based on the objects they choose.(重點)
2. write a good composition based on the learned grammar. (難點) 教材: 高中 人教版2003版 授課時長 45分鐘
教學過程 1: Story making
What do you choose in the bag? (chocolate, porcelain, massager, flowers, key rings) How can you make a story based on the object you choose?
在這個過程中,鼓勵學生敢于表達自己的想法并提供建議。1.當遇到不會表達的東西我們可以換種表達方式,比如說瓷器,學生想不到porcelain,可以china表達,如果還不會,可以說it is a tool, which is made in Jingdezhen.這里教會學生用定語從句表達。2.如何高級的表述自己的內容,可以用強調句倒裝句等等表達同個內容。在這個環節中,學生充分發揮自己的想象力,通過選擇袋子里面的隨即物品,編出了很有創意的故事,同時引出這節課的主題,如何通過不同的方式表達自己的想法。
Part 2: Deliver messages in different ways
T: Today we’re going to tell you the ways to deliver messages. If we want to make our writing more beautiful, what ways can we use?
通過這個環節,讓學生總結出表達消息可以通過那些不同的方法,把語法知識點應用到輸出中去。
Part 3: Make a compositon Group work:
The students are divided into three groups, and each group write a paragraph of the composition. The students should try to put the ways into practice. Present
Show the composition written by the students. Comment
Every students try to find the distinguished points of others’ composition.
通過這個環節,學生先小組探討寫出一段作文,然后通過投影分享給大家,由其他人點評作文的優秀之處,哪里用了不同的表達方式。這樣充分的調動了學生的積極性,顯示了學生為主題。
Part 4: Examiner
Suppose you were the examiner of College Entrance Examination, what topic will you choose? And change your topic with you partner.
通過這個環節,假設學生成為了高考命題老師,他們通過出題并且讓小伙伴互相交換做題,鞏固今天所學知識,充分做到學以致用。這也是家庭作業。
