The use of –ing form表示主動的或進行的動作或伴隨狀態,在句子中可以充當Attribute (定語),Object Complement(賓語補足語),Subject (主語) ,Predicative(表語),Object(賓語),和Adverbial(狀語)。

探究一 動詞–ing形式作主語
e.g. Traveling makes me relax. So traveling all over the world is my dream.
Task 1: Write down your hobbies and dreams by using the following sentence patterns.
Doing…makes/gives/brings me/is…

Task 2: A guessing game: Work in groups, and use at least three sentences with V-ing to describe one of your classmates. The students in other groups will guess who he/she is.

否認完成停能賞(deny, finish, stop, enjoy / appreciate),

一個定語從句。
