Ⅰ、教材內(nèi)容分析：
授課內(nèi)容為普通高中課程實驗教科書高二選修7,本單元的中心話題是濟貧扶弱、志愿服務(wù)、合作共享。教學(xué)目的是讓學(xué)生認(rèn)識到社會上貧富、強弱的差異和幫助別人的意義，幫助學(xué)生樹立同情弱者、救困濟貧的思想。課文的學(xué)習(xí)強調(diào)略讀，查讀 ，訓(xùn)練學(xué)生通過尋找關(guān)鍵詞等方式快速準(zhǔn)確地確定文章大意，理清文章的總體框架。 Ⅱ、學(xué)情分析：
通過前面“熱身”（Warming up）同學(xué)們已經(jīng)討論了平時幫助別人的方式。以及作為一名志愿者能夠為社會為他人做哪些事情。學(xué)生已通過第一篇課文的學(xué)習(xí)了解了發(fā)展中國家巴布亞新幾內(nèi)亞農(nóng)村的教育和生活狀況，認(rèn)識到發(fā)展中國家貧困地區(qū)人們的生活艱苦及孩子們?nèi)狈θ币律偈常蠈W(xué)條件差。 Ⅲ、Teaching goals 教學(xué)目標(biāo) Teaching Goals:
1. To make students master the words and expressions about donating something.
2. To develop the students fast reading ability and writing ability. 3. To help students to learn about the educational and living conditions of some developing countries and develop their awareness of helping those in need.

1.Students look at some pictures about gifts and answer questions Have you ever sent gifts to others? Whom do you send to?
2. Show some cards to students.( cards for birthday. Wedding. Christmas and some other occasions) and emphasize the words in the card. 3. Show two pictures about children in developing countries and ask Ss to discuss the following questions. Would you like to sent gifts to them? What would you like to give?
設(shè)計思路:以討論日常生活的話題入手,使導(dǎo)入部分具有“切入口小,切入主題快”的效果,上課開始就順利切入主題,問答中包含了課文中的重要單詞及短語,言語富有鼓勵性和啟發(fā)性,能使學(xué)生產(chǎn)生強烈的共鳴上,使課堂充滿輕松和愉悅的氣氛,為順利開展之后的教學(xué)活動打下了基礎(chǔ)。
Step 2. Pre-reading
1. Students guess the main idea of the passage according to the title, the first sentence in the first paragraph and two pictures.
The passage shows us a catalogue of gifts to give people in developing countries.
2. The reading skill for students
Sometimes we can predict the main idea of the passage by reading the Title, the main Sentence of the first paragraph , and also we can use the pictures.
設(shè)計思路：通過題目及文中的圖片猜測文章的主旨大意是學(xué)生在學(xué)習(xí)第一篇課文時就強調(diào)的閱讀方法，在這篇課文的學(xué)習(xí)中使用幫助學(xué)生進一步掌握閱讀技巧，了解了文章的主旨大意額有利于學(xué)生更加順利的完成快速閱讀的學(xué)習(xí)任務(wù)。 Step 3. Reading
1. Make students know the passage is in the form of a page from the internet.
2. Lead students to divide the text into three parts Part1 a brief introduction Part2 a gift catalogue Part3 an attractive card
3. Ask one student to read the first part showing three questions on the screen.
What is the purpose of the internet page?
When you purchase a gift, you will be sent an attractive card. What occasions can you use the cards for?
設(shè)計思路: 聽和讀都是學(xué)生獲取信息的有效途徑。通過讓學(xué)生邊聽邊讀可以培養(yǎng)其快速閱讀的能力。通過有目的的聽和讀,讓學(xué)生在了解課文大意的同時把握課文中一些細(xì)節(jié)性的內(nèi)容。
4. Students scan the gift catalogue and answer questions as quickly as possible
How many gifts are listed?
In what kind of order are the gifts listed? What is the cheapest gift?
設(shè)計思路: 設(shè)置問題快速閱讀培養(yǎng)學(xué)生快速獲取有效信息的能力。 5. Students match the gift with the description.
設(shè)計思路: matching練習(xí)是讓學(xué)生自學(xué)禮物的描述。一方面幫助學(xué)生理解禮物清單上這些禮物的用途，另一方面為下一項discussion學(xué)習(xí)任務(wù)的順利完成打好語言基礎(chǔ)。
6. Students read the third part together and fill in the chart and blanks. training in new agriculture methods Gifts:

Gifts will be given to families in India Kenya or Bangladesh
設(shè)計思路:學(xué)生進一步學(xué)習(xí)對所贈物品的的描述，從點到面使學(xué)生建立了完整的知識體系。
7. Students watch a video about poor study conditions of children in our country. Then lead students to read words in the song—We are the world We are the world We are the children
We are the ones who make a brighter day. So let’s start giving!
設(shè)計思路:讓學(xué)生更直觀的了解貧困地區(qū)孩子們的生活和學(xué)習(xí)，視頻和歌詞能使學(xué)生產(chǎn)生強烈的情感共鳴，激發(fā)學(xué)生幫助這些孩子的熱情。
Step 4. Discussion
Would you like to donate something to the children in poor areas? What can you do for them?
設(shè)計思路: 這一活動任務(wù)具有很大的開放性，既調(diào)動了學(xué)生的積極性和自主性，又有利于引導(dǎo)學(xué)生進行一次發(fā)散性思維，有利于鍛煉學(xué)生的語言運用能力。 Step 5. Writing
1. Students write a letter to a child in the video.

設(shè)計思路: 由視頻學(xué)生了解到中國很多貧困地區(qū)的孩子需要我們的捐助，學(xué)生已經(jīng)討論了如何去幫助他們再過度到寫信，信的提綱已經(jīng)給出，便于學(xué)生快速構(gòu)思并在有限的時間內(nèi)完成信件 Step 6. Conclusion We are the world
