一、教學目標
1.知識目標
能聽、說、認讀、寫五個單詞:doctor、nurse、driver、farmer、cook,并能介紹人物職業。
2.能力目標
能夠在語境中正確運用所學的五個職業類單詞以及句型:What’s his/her like? He’s/She’s a cook.
3.情感態度目標
創設多種活動,充分激發學生學習英語的興趣和熱情,培養學生從小樹立正確的職業觀,樹立遠大的理想。
二、學情分析
本節課的教學對象是小學四年級的學生,作為四年級的學生,他們在英語的聽、說、讀、寫方面已經有了一定的基礎。所以在教學過程中,教師起到引路作用,幫助學生歸納整理知識,從而提高學習效率。本單元的教學內容與學生的實際生活息息相關,因而本單元的教學內容對學生來說不難理解,關鍵是如何將分散的語言點進行整合、拓展,并在實際生活中加以準確運用。在教學時,教師要通過創設情景,運用多種教學手段,開展靈活多樣的教學活動,將新舊知識有機結合,對本單元知識加以強化,從而讓學生更好地掌握和拓展職業這一話題。
三、教學重難點
1.重點:能聽、說、認讀、寫五個單詞:doctor、nurse、driver、farmer、cook。
2.難點:能夠在語境中正確運用所學的五個職業類單詞以及句型:What’s his/her like? He’s/She’s a ...
四、課前準備
多媒體設備、職業道具圖片和單詞卡片。
五、教學過程
Step 1 Warm-up
1.Greetings.
T:Good morning, boys and girls .
Ss:Good morning, Miss Luo.
T:How are you?
Ss:I’m fine, thank you .
2.Sing a song《Meet my family!》
T: All of you sing very well. I think you can be a good singer. (Show a picture of singer.) He’s a singer. The singer is his job. About me, my job is a teacher. Teacher is my job. Do you know job? What does job mean?
Step 2 Lean-in
Teach “job” and ask: Do you know any other jobs? Show some pictures of jobs.
Step 3 Presentation and practice

在組長的帶領下,根據提示單詞紅色部分的發音試著拼讀新詞:
dog cat teacher (er=or) ---- doctor
cat book ---- cook
bedroom like over ----- driver
five arm teacher ---- farmer
no purple mouse ---- nurse
(時間3分鐘)
2.檢測學生自學情況并糾正單詞發音,學習單詞。
(1)farmer
Ask Ss to read the words: five arm teacher farmer
Read “farmer” team by team.
Use a straw hat to practice the sentences: What’s his job? He’s a farmer.
T: The farmers feed so many animals and product vegetables and fruits. So that we have food to eat. So they are very helpful.
(2)doctor
Ask Ss to read the words:dog cat teacher doctor
Read “doctor”row by row.
Use a stethoscope to practice the sentences: What’s her job? She’s a doctor.
T: If you feel uncomfortable, like having a headache or a stomachache, you can go to the hospital to see a doctor. They will help you. So they are very helpful.
(3)cook
Ask Ss to read the words: cat book cook
Choose some students to read “cook”.
Use a chef cap to practice the sentences: What’s his/her job? He’s/She’s a doctor.
T: The cook can make much delicious food for us. So they are helpful.
(4)nurse
Ask Ss to read the words:no purple mouse nurse
Choose some students to read “nurse”.
Use a nurse cap to practice the sentences: What’s his/her job? He’s/She’s a nurse.
(5)driver
Ask Ss to read the words:bedroom like over driver
Choose some students to read “driver”.
Practice the sentences: What’s his/her job? He’s/She’s a driver.
T: If you want to go somewhere, the drivers can help you. So they are very helpful.
Step 4 Consolidation and extension
1.Quick respond. Read the words as soon as you see.
2.Play a game:You act , I guess.
Rules:
(1)One act the role of a job, the other guess. (一人做某個職業的動作,其他人猜)
(2)If you know the answer, please hands up.(猜出答案后請舉手示意)
3.Let's chant.
4.Listen and number.
5.Free talk:
(1)用下例句型談談自己未來理想的職業。
What do you want to be in the future(未來)?
eg: I want to be a …(我想成為一位...)
(2)Introduce Doraemon and take a time machine to 20 years later. Make a name card for yourself.
(3)Group work
Introduce yourself in your group:Hi!My name is Miss Luo.I'm 49 years old.I'm a teacher.I love my job.
(4)Make a report.
Step 5 Summary and homework
1.Make a summary of this lesson.
2.情感滲透:Each job is equal which makes great contribution to our society. They are helpful.
3.Homework:Collecting other jobs.
Step 6 Goodbye
Goodbye to the students.
