Step1: Warming-up
A short video of students' last school trip. And then look at some pictures and answer questions.
1) When did we have a school trip?

Look at the sentences and introduce the simple past tense.
Step3: A micro-lesson
A student from the class will lead other students to learn about the usage of simple past tense through a micro-lesson.

Task1: Conclude the rules of past forms.
(1)Can you write down the past forms of these verbs? Watch, like, stop, study, come, live, plan, visit, try, put (2)Can you divide these words into two groups? regular verbs & irregular verbs (3) Changing rules of the past forms.
Task2: Adventures: three boxes of treasure for students to open(Students are divided into three big groups, and each group chooses one box)
Box No1: 15 sentences, and students are supposed to try their best to give the right answers in 1 minutes. Foe each right answer, they can get 1 point.
Box No2: Students are supposed to complete an e-mail in 1 minute. Read out each sentence with the right answer. For each sentence, they can get 2 points.
Box No3: Students are supposed to make up a story in 1 minute. Each student gives one sentence. Foe each sentence, they can get 2 points.
