一、教材分析:
1. 本節(jié)課主要讓學(xué)生談?wù)撟约簯?yīng)該做和不應(yīng)該做的事,學(xué)會(huì)表達(dá)自己的觀點(diǎn)。在語法方面,讓學(xué)生掌握“should be allowed to do”結(jié)構(gòu)和“I agree/I disagree”句型。
2. 通過這節(jié)課的學(xué)習(xí),讓學(xué)生認(rèn)識(shí)到父母老師的合理化建議對(duì)他們成長(zhǎng)的重要性。
二、學(xué)情分析:
1.青少年這個(gè)階段有自己的認(rèn)知能力,對(duì)事情的處理也有自己的看法。 2.學(xué)生以前學(xué)過被動(dòng)語態(tài),所以對(duì)本課內(nèi)容應(yīng)該能較好掌握。
3.一些學(xué)生的詞匯量有限,想表達(dá)自己的觀點(diǎn)是會(huì)有一定的困難。
三、教學(xué)目標(biāo):
1. 知識(shí)目標(biāo):理解2b課文內(nèi)容,并掌握一些單詞,短語和句式。 2. 能力目標(biāo):
(1) 能通過閱讀瀏覽文章標(biāo)題、插圖、每段首末句來獲取文章主旨大意或中心思想。 (2) 在語言運(yùn)用過程中學(xué)習(xí)和掌握語言知識(shí),學(xué)會(huì)表達(dá)自己的觀點(diǎn)。 3. 情感目標(biāo):
讓學(xué)生通過閱讀這篇課文引發(fā)對(duì)未來的思考。鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生積極地為夢(mèng)想努力,同時(shí)也應(yīng)讓他們了解在通往夢(mèng)想的道路上可能存在的風(fēng)險(xiǎn)和失敗。
四、教學(xué)重難點(diǎn):
重點(diǎn):讓學(xué)生理解文章大意, 并學(xué)會(huì)運(yùn)用閱讀中所學(xué)的詞匯和句式。 難點(diǎn):理解文章大意,清晰地表達(dá)自己的觀點(diǎn)。
五、學(xué)習(xí)策略:
1. 通過瀏覽文章標(biāo)題、插圖、每段的首末句來獲取文章的主旨大意或中心思想。 2. 學(xué)生先學(xué) ,教師后教。在語言的運(yùn)用過程中學(xué)習(xí)。
六、教具:教學(xué)光盤,PPT, 課本 七、教學(xué)過程:
Step One: Lead-in
1. Write the title of the unit “Teenagers should be allowed to choose their own clothes” and explain it.
2. Show some pictures and talk about hobbies and dreams with students. “What’s your hobby? What do you want to be when you grow up?” 3. Show photos of Li Yuchun and Liu Xiang, and ask and answer.
“What does she want to be? She wants to be a singer.”
“What does he want to be? He wants to be a professional runner. Many boys want to be a professional runner like Liu Xiang.”
Step Two: Reading
1. Discuss the questions in 2a.
Are you allowed to make your own decisions at home? What kinds of decisions? 2. Fast reading. ---獲取信息(摘取關(guān)鍵詞,在原文勾畫出原句)
Read 2b and answer the following questions, and try to make the students get the main idea of the passage.
(1) What does he want to be? He wants to be a professional runner. (2) What’s his hobby? He loves running.
(3) What does he think about running? He thinks “I’m serious about running. It’s the only thing that I’ve ever wanted to do.”
(4) What do his parents want him to do? His parents want him to study hard at school and enter university.
(5) Does Wang Yu agree with his parents? No, he doesn’t really agree.
(6) Do his parents support his dream? Why do his parents disagree with him? 3. Read the passage carefully again and get the information to finish the 2c.
Step Three: Careful reading (1) Pair work.
Read the passage the third time to finish the 2d.
Discuss with your partner, and check your answers. Underline the difficulties. (2) Group work.
Finish off the difficulties, and make your own sentences with the phrases.
Step Four: Language points and summary
1. Discuss and sum up the language points in groups or in class. 2. Explain the difficulties.
Only then will I have a chance to achieve my dream.

Only 位于句首且修飾狀語或作狀語從句時(shí)主句要部分倒裝。
eg: Only on Sunday can I play computer games. Only when you are 18 years old can you drive. [針對(duì)練習(xí)]

Step Five: Homework
1. Memorize the new words and the language points. 2. Try to retell the story.
八、教學(xué)反思:
本篇閱讀是一篇議論文,重點(diǎn)是領(lǐng)會(huì)劉育和父母的觀點(diǎn)和沖突,對(duì)學(xué)生來說有一定難度。所以,在fast reading教學(xué)過程中,我精心設(shè)計(jì)問題,一步一步地引導(dǎo)學(xué)生了解文章的主旨大意,了解劉育的愛好和夢(mèng)想是當(dāng)一名職業(yè)跑步運(yùn)動(dòng)員,而父母卻不同意。父母認(rèn)為他很難成功,他應(yīng)該好好學(xué)習(xí),考大學(xué)。如果學(xué)生們明白了劉育和父母的觀點(diǎn)和沖突就很容易理解本篇文章了。
在Language points和造句方面,時(shí)間有點(diǎn)緊張,有的學(xué)生在語言運(yùn)用方面有點(diǎn)弱,還需要進(jìn)一步鞏固和練習(xí)。
