Ⅳ Five-finger teaching plan.
Step 1 Introduction (6 minutes)
1.Greet students and let students answer a question: How many days are there in a year? 2.Show the pictures of the four seasons on the screen and ask some questions; Lead students to answer the questions. (老師可以讓學生根據圖片猜測season的意思:季節) Step 2Presentation (15 minutes)
1.Show the picture of “spring” on the screen and ask the question: What’s the weather like in spring? (老師解釋此問題)
2.Point out the question: What can we do in spring?Let students talk about the question and try to answer it.
3.Show the next picture of “summer” on the screen and ask the question: How is the weather in summer?(老師解釋此問題)Then let students answer the question.
4.Show the other pictures of “fall” and “winter”. Let students talk about the pictures in pairs and choose some pairs to show their new conversations.
5.Play the tape and let students read after the tape carefully. Then point out the key sentences on the screen and let students try to remember the key sentences: —What’s the weather like in spring?/How is the weather in spring? —It’s warm. It’s a good time to.../ It’s a good season for..../We can...
6.Play the tape again and help check the answers. Step 3. Consolidation(10 minutes)
1.Show the four pictures and let students talk about the pictures in pairs. Then choose some students to show their dialogs.
2.Play the tape and let students fill in the blanks. Choose some students to check the answers. 3.Show the pictures in 2b and give students some time to make up new conversations in pairs and then show their dialogs. Step 4. Practice (8 minutes)
Let students do the exercise on the screen and give them some time to do the exercise. Then check the answer.
Step 5. Production. (6minutes)
Assign the homework: Review the words of Section A;
Make up a short passage about the seasons and the activities; Preview the words and expressions in Section B.
