一、 課型：Reading and writing 二、 教學目標：
1.通過本課的學習，學生能夠正確運用下列單詞和詞組tonight, read out, winner, compared with, even though, rush, blouse, skirt, protect sth against sth, singer, congratulations, headmaster, present. 2. 能夠讀懂有關攝影比賽的文章。 3.能夠運用定語從句談論照片。
4.能夠根據自己的愛好檢索資料，組織語言介紹自己所喜歡的東西。 三、 教學重難點：
1.能夠讀懂有關攝影比賽的文章。 2.能用定語從句介紹照片。 四、學情分析：
我校屬于城鄉結合部，大部分學生對于英語的運用能力還不夠強，學習英語的興趣不夠濃厚，學生功底比較弱。 五、教學內容和方法
本課文介紹了今年攝影大賽的獲獎人、獲獎照片和獲獎理由。課文按照四個不同主題闡述了照片的獲獎理由，內容充實，同時自然地融合了定語從句，使學生能夠在語境中體會這一語法。教師利用學生對拍照的興趣，設計一系列的教學活動。通過主要的教學活動，讓學生學以致用，提高綜合語言運用能力。

七、教學評價
學生在本節課中能夠復習到單詞短語，并能用簡單的英語介紹照片，培養了學生快速閱讀，從閱讀中找出細節，找出答案的能力。通過小組活動，學生的學習積極性也被大大地調動；課堂學習氛圍濃厚；學生參與率高。課堂練習可以再增多一些。
