整體設計
教學重點
1. Enable the students to grasp the usage of such important words and expressions as distinguish,convenient,set about doing, now and then, etc.
2. Get students to master the patterns “there be...” “It seems that...”and “so...that”. 教學難點
1.Let students learn the usage of the word distinguish and the sentence pattern “there be”.
2.Get students to translate some long sentences using what has just been learned. 三維目標 知識目標
1. Get students to know the Chinese meanings of the new words in this unit.
2. Get students to learn and grasp the important and useful new words and expressions in this part: distinguish,convenient,set about doing, now and then.
3. Let students learn the following important and useful sentence patterns: “there be...” “It seems that...”and “so...that”. 能力目標:
1. Get students to use some useful new words and expressions freely and correctly. 2. Enable students to make sentences after the useful sentence patterns. 情感目標
1. Stimulate students’ interest in learning English.
2. Develop students’ spirit of cooperation and teamwork. 教學過程
Step1. A game on the words in this unit
1. Students are divided into three groups. Play a game named “Wars between heroes”. Step2. Studying key language points of the class
1. Students refer to their dictionary for the usages of distinguish, there be and seem within 2 minutes.
2. Studying important language points.

so …that… , 如此……以至于……,so后可用形容 詞或副詞表原因,that后的句子表結果。

…so that … 意思:…… , 以便于……表目的。 例如:
It opens channels from heart to heart__________ feelings can flow reciprocally.
