PEP 5 Unit 1 What’s he like? C Story time教學設計
一、教學目標:
1. 能夠在圖片的幫助下讀懂吳一凡的日記,完成選擇描述機器人特征單詞的活動,達到復習本單元的目的,并且為Story time 部分熱身。 2. 能夠“設計”一個機器人并寫出描述其特征的3個句子。
3. 通過回答兩個問題理解Story故事大意,然后通過角色扮演進一步熟悉理解故事。
4. 幫助學生養成尊師重教的美德。 二、教學重難點:
重點:學生能夠理解Story短文內容。 難點:能用He/She is ... ...進行真實交際。 三、教學準備:多媒體課件 單詞卡片 四、教學步驟: Step1 Pre-reading
1. Review the words: young, funny, kind, hard-working,clever... 2. Pair work:
A: Who’s your_______ teacher? B : Mr /Miss______. A: What’s he/she like? B: He’s /She’s________ .
Step2 Read a passage to review and warm up 1.出示Wu Yifan圖片: T: Do you know him? Ss: Yes, I do.
T: Wu Yifan has a robot. His name is Robin. Let’s meet Robin now. 引出Robin和robot,重點強調字母“o”的發音區別。 2. 文本教學
(1)Task 1: Read and find.
學生認真閱讀,并在課文中找到形容“What’s Robin like?”的形容詞。 (2)Task 2: Read and answer.
學生認真閱讀第二遍,回答以下三個問題:1. Why Robin is really clever? 2. Why he is strict? 3. Where is he from?學生完成后,同桌討論并回答問題。 (3)講解文中關鍵句

4. 請學生獨立設計一個機器人,先畫一張草圖然后用語言對機器人的外貌特征加以描述,如:
I have a robot. His name is …He’s … He … Step3 Story time
1.Watch the video and answer the questions: Who will be Zoom and Zip’s new PE teacher? What’s he like? 2.Listen and follow 3. Role-play Step4 Homework 1.Read P11 for three times. 2. Try to recite the text. 3. Finish the exercise book.
