Step I
Leading in.
Watch a video.
Ask the students to watch a video to relax themselves and then lead in the new lesson. Step II New words
Teach the students some new words through the pictures.
It is easy for the students to remember the new words through the pictures.
Step III Activity 2d
First, lead in the dialogue. Then ask the students to answer two questions according to it. Then fill in the blanks. Finally roleplay the conversation.
This activity is designed to practice the students’ speaking skill.
Step IV
Grammar Focus
1. Ask the students to read the first part.
A general review.
Step V Grammar focus
2. Ask the students to sum up the structures of the sentence.
3. Ask the students to sum up the usage of countable and uncountable nouns. 4. Practice.
Ask the students to sum up the grammar by themselves. They can have a better understanding of it.
Step VI Activity 3a
Ask the students to do activity 3a and then check the answers.
To see if the students can use do/ does/ like /likes /doesn’t/ don’t well.
Step VII
Activity 3b
Ask the students to do activity 3b and then check the answers.
To see if the students can make up a dialogue according to sentences given.
Step VIII
Activity 3c
Make a survey about the food they like.
To see if the students have mastered how to talk about likes and dislikes. Step X Summary and homework.
