1. Lead in to the topic by watching a TV sketch “扶不扶” Step2:Pre-reading
1. Get Ss to look at the picture and the title of the passage on Page 3 , which can help them understand the main idea of the passage. Then finish Task 1. 1) What is the passage mainly about?
2) Do you think this passage is from a newspaper or a story ? How do you know ? Step3:While-reading
1. Skim and find out the main idea of each paragraph.（Task 2） 2. Scan and answer the questions.(Task 3)
3. Carefully read and fill in the chart,then retell the story.(Task 4) 4. Carefully read ,then finish 3b and 3c Step4:Post-reading
1. Fill in the blanks with the important phrases 1. Ss discuss the stress phrases in group. 2. Ss do an interview with Wang Ping .

視頻切合本節課的內容，并讓學生帶著分歧學習，引起學生探究的興趣。
閱讀前的準備 呈現書本上的內容插圖 呈現課文標題 討論在圖片中看到的內容。 朗讀標題。 讓學生掌握新聞內容可以通過圖片，標題獲取文章大意的閱讀方法。
閱讀中
遞進式呈現不同的閱讀任務： 1.歸納段落大意 2.任務表格 3.復述課文 4.判斷并改正句子。 5.同伴問答 運用skimming, scanning ,查找細節，推理等閱讀方法反復閱讀課文內容： 1.歸納段落主要意思； 2.小組討論完成信息表格； 3.朗讀課文，復述課文； 4.判斷句子正誤，并改正； 5.同伴問答。 1.通過提醒學生關注段落的開頭句子快速了解各段的大意，整體把握故事內容 2.通過查找具體的信息，一方面訓練學生掃描定位信息的閱讀能力，另一方面讓學生從整體到細節更具體的了解短文故事
3.表格任務的設計是為了讓學生更好的梳理短文內容，能夠發現故事敘述的順序，幫助學生有條理的復述課文 4.學生在語篇理解的基礎上能夠快速準確地推理判斷，檢查學生是否更全面細致的理解了語篇。
閱讀后
1.呈現課文，空出重點短語。 2.圈出重點短語 3.提出“What do you think of Wang Ping ?”讓學生討論。 4.給出采訪的框架，讓學生小組合作開展采訪活動。 5.組織學生現場采訪同學們“扶不扶”的話題 1.朗讀并快速填出所缺內容 2.小組討論重點短語在語篇中的含義并探究用法 3.談論對王平的看法 4.小組活動：扮演不同角色，再現王平的故事 5.學生隨機采訪遇到同樣的情況，扶不扶？幫不幫？ 1.檢查學生通過系列任務之后對語篇理解的程度，同時再次呈現重點短語。
