一、教學(xué)目標(biāo): 1. 語(yǔ)言知識(shí)目標(biāo):
1) 能掌握以下單詞:tiger, elephant, panda, lion, koala, giraffe, cute, lazy, smart, beautiful, scary 2) 能掌握以下句型:
① What animals do you/does she/ does he like? ② Let's see the …?
③ Why do you/does she/ does he want to see …? ④ Because they are …. 2. 能力目標(biāo):
① To observe and describe animals. ② To talk about their preferences
③ To know the implied meaning of some animals 2. 情感態(tài)度價(jià)值觀目標(biāo):
動(dòng)物和人類都生活在同一地球上,動(dòng)物是我們的朋友。我們?nèi)祟悜?yīng)該與動(dòng)物和諧相處,共同生存。我們應(yīng)當(dāng)學(xué)會(huì)關(guān)愛動(dòng)物,保護(hù)動(dòng)物。 二、教學(xué)重難點(diǎn) 1. 教學(xué)重點(diǎn):
1) 學(xué)會(huì)描述動(dòng)物的性格及特點(diǎn)。
2) 學(xué)會(huì)表達(dá)喜歡某類動(dòng)物及說明喜歡的原因。 2. 教學(xué)難點(diǎn):
表達(dá)動(dòng)物的詞義和讀音;熟練運(yùn)用所學(xué)知識(shí)描述動(dòng)物并談?wù)撓矚g動(dòng)物的原因 三、教學(xué)過程
Ⅰ. Warming-up and lead in

To create an English environment, the teacher shows the class some pictures of a zoo.And show a video about aniamls . Ask some questions about animals:[來源:學(xué)Do you like animals? Why do you like it? What animals can you see?
Then have them to recall the animals in the video.
( e.g. animals---sheep, monkey, cat, dog, mouse, cow, duck… ) Ⅱ. Presentation
1. Then show the class some pictures of animals and guess what is it. And ask them:
What’s this in English?
It's a tiger. (Then lion, panda, elephant, koala, giraffe)
Ss look at the picture and try to remember the new words of the animals. 2. Next, glue the pictures on the blackboard and ask one student to match the pictures with the words on the cards. Other students finish 1a. 3. Check the answers together with the class. Ⅲ. Game (Guessing game.)
T: Show some pictures on the big screen. T will give a glue and let Ss guess what animal it is.
Ss try to guess and remember the names of the animals. Ⅳ. Listening Practice 1. Activity 1b ( Work on 1b.)
Tell Ss to listen to the tape and check the animals they hear in 1a. Play the recording again and check the answers with the class. 1) Pre-listening
Get the students to look at the picture and tell them that a boy and a girl want to see the animals in the zoo .Let Ss describe the animals in 1a with the adjectives : interesting, cute, smart, beautiful... 2) While-listening
①Play the recording. Listen and check the animals they hear in 1a.

② Circle the names of animals and underline the adjectives in the text. ③ Listen again. Get Ss to answer the questions: What animals does the girl like?
Why does the boy want to see the giraffes? Does the girl think pandas are cute? 3 )Post-listening.
①Ask the Ss to read the listening materials after the recording. ② Write a short passage use mind-map.
Animals ( Name 、 Place、 Description words 、Useful sentences... Where are they from? They are from China. Why do you like it? Because .......)
Pair work
1. Ask the students to imagine “We are in the zoo; there are many kinds of animals here.”
Then ask a student to do the model with you: — Let’s see the lions first.
—Why? (Why do you /does she /does he like lions?) —Because they are interesting.
2. Ss work with their partners practice the conversation using the animal in 1a. Homework:
1. Remember the new words and expressions in period. 2. Role-play the conversation after class.
