【導入】a small video and losing weight Step1 . Greeting
Today ,we are going to learn Unit 3. At first, I would like to share a small viedo with you guys. Step 2. watching and feeling
After you have seen this video, what is the biggest feature can you find? (The people in the film are fat). why do they do exercise so hard? ( Because they want to lose weight.) Then introduce the topic of this unit: looking good and feeling good. The love for beauty is the nature for all human beings. Then ask students to talk about what beauty is.
活動2【講授】ways to look good and feel good
Step1, Ask students to discuss about the ways to look good and feel good. Then invite some of them to talk about it. Step2. Show them two pictures about the same one wearing different clothes. Then, tell students that changing clothes is a way to change our looks. Show them a picture with different kinds of fruit. Then conclude that there are a lot of viatmins in fruit which are good for us, This is the second way to change our looks. Then show them the third picture and tell them that having a good sleep is also important if we want to change our looks. Then, introduce ways such as doing exercise, plastic surgery, losing weight are also some ways to look good and feel good. In these pictures, students should be told that doing plastic surgery is risky and they are not supposed to do like
this one. Also, taking weight-loss pils and keeping on a diet is harmful to our health.
活動3【講授】inner mind is more important than
appearance
Step1.Show them two pictures. The first is about a beautiful girl who breaks the traffic rules. The second picture are soldiers who help each other in the big snow . Then ask them which one looks more beautiful. Conclude that virture is true beauty.
Step 2. As a student, what can you do to make yourself more beautiful?( Offer your seats to the old or the weak; pick up rhbbish whenever and wherever possible.)
活動4【活動】free discussion
Step1. which do you think is more important , looking good or feeling good, or both? How can a person both look good feel good? Ask students to discuss with their classmates and then share their opinions.
Conclusion: How to look good and feel good? ( be confident and smile more, wear suitable clothes, help others, exercise regularly, eat healthy food, have enough sleep.)
活動5【作業】Homework
Ask students to talk about what you do to keep yourself looking good and feeling good. Invite some students to talk bout it. Then after class, write down their opinions on the exercise book.
