1.Read the Mississippi River facts.
讀前活動一： 以課前作業的形式讓學生閱讀美國的密西西比河的歷史以及它對于美國發展的意義，了解小說的地理背景。
2.Read the history of the states around the 19th century
讀前活動二： 讓學生閱讀19世紀美國歷史，主要事件是南北戰爭和奴隸制度的廢除。目的是讓學生了解哈克貝利歷險
記的社會背景。
3.Read the introduction of Mark Twain on page 29
讀前活動三： 讓學生閱讀文化角馬克吐溫的介紹，了解小說的作者。
4.Read the novel---The adventures of Huckleberry Finn.
讀前活動四： 給學生一定時間讀哈克貝利歷險記，體會小說內容。
5. Write a summary of the novel.
讀前活動五：讓學生根據自己體會寫一份小說概要。
讀中 1在地圖中畫出馬克吐溫青年時期生活軌跡
讀中活動一： 地圖連線，展現Mark Twain 青年時期的生活軌跡，從而體現 The lives of writers resemble the lives of the characters they create.
