一、教材分析
本單元的中心話題是“農(nóng)業(yè)”，內(nèi)容涉及我國著名的雜交水稻專家袁隆平的貢獻、化肥對土地耕種的影響以及開展有機生態(tài)耕種等。學(xué)生對于農(nóng)業(yè)的話題較為陌生，因此本單元詞匯學(xué)習(xí)重設(shè)語境，從三國演義中學(xué)生耳熟能詳?shù)墓适轮郑Y(jié)合社交媒體和多媒體應(yīng)用幫助學(xué)生熟悉并掌握以下詞匯：occupy; disturb; struggle; regret; satisfy; comment; focus; lead to; thanks to; freedom。
二、學(xué)生分析
授課對象為高一學(xué)生，學(xué)生喜歡輕松的話題，具備一定的詞匯基礎(chǔ)和中國古典名著的知識基礎(chǔ)。因此，本次設(shè)計從熱門微博中三國演義片段著手，能較好地吸引學(xué)生，激發(fā)學(xué)生的語言學(xué)習(xí)興趣從而進一步掌握該單元詞匯。但是學(xué)生對于詞匯的用法缺乏系統(tǒng)的認(rèn)知和理解，運用能力弱。因此本次課題結(jié)合教授與運用，著重提升詞匯運用能力。
三、教學(xué)目標(biāo)
1. 語言能力
學(xué)生能熟悉并運用以下詞及詞組的用法: occupy; disturb; struggle; regret; satisfy; comment; focus; lead to; thanks to; freedom。 2. 學(xué)習(xí)能力
學(xué)生能通過個人、同伴互助和小組討論等方式，在觀察、思考、游戲等過程中，正確歸納、比較和運用重點詞和詞組的涵義和用法。 3. 文化品質(zhì)
學(xué)生能加深對中國經(jīng)典著作的理解，致力于傳統(tǒng)文化的學(xué)習(xí)與傳播，讓傳統(tǒng)文化煥發(fā)生機，賦予時代意義持續(xù)傳承下去。
四、教學(xué)重點
通過語境呈現(xiàn)、填空、實操等方法，幫助學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)掌握以下重點詞及詞組的意義和用法: occupy; disturb; struggle; regret; satisfy; comment; focus; lead to; thanks to; freedom。
五、教學(xué)難點
通過翻譯三國演義中著名故事“草船借箭”正確運用以下詞及詞組：occupy; disturb; struggle; regret; satisfy; comment; focus; lead to; thanks to; freedom。

Step1: Greetings
Step2: Leading-in: Guess (2 mins)
T presents dialogues in QQ and the picture of Liu Bei and then gives three hints to ask Ss to guess who he is.
【設(shè)計意圖】通過學(xué)生常用的QQ對話形式，讓學(xué)生在輕松的氛圍中開始學(xué)習(xí)。利用圖片激發(fā)學(xué)生興趣，引出主題，自然過渡到課堂教學(xué)。根據(jù)所給線索，自然引出occupy，讓學(xué)生在語境中體驗詞匯的運用。
Step 3: Learn and use the words and expressions (20 mins) 1. occupy
T invites a student to guess the meaning of the new word in the text and instructs the usage of it. T asks a question: What are you occupied with at school?
【設(shè)計意圖】根據(jù)情境理解詞義，結(jié)合學(xué)生實際提問，進一步落實詞匯的運用。 2. disturb
T gives the synonym of the new word to help Ss understand the meaning and asks a question: When you are occupied with study, what disturbs you most? 【設(shè)計意圖】根據(jù)學(xué)生已有的詞匯知識進行遷移轉(zhuǎn)化，豐富學(xué)生詞匯儲備。采用復(fù)現(xiàn)的方法，不斷強化新知識的運用。 3. thanks to
T guides Ss to understand the phrase’s meaning and Ss fill in the blanks.
【設(shè)計意圖】采用填空的方式強化聯(lián)系前后所學(xué)知識已達到融會貫通的效果。 4. comment
T presents the picture and a short video of Three Kingdoms to help Ss figure out the meaning of the new word. T asks a student to make a sentence.
【設(shè)計意圖】采用圖片和視頻的方式激發(fā)學(xué)生興趣，取材于現(xiàn)代社交媒體熱點，幫助學(xué)生迅速理解新詞意思。采用造句的方式深化學(xué)生對此新詞的理解和運用。并且引出下文語境。 5. struggle & satisfy
T asks Ss to find a new word in this unit to replace the word they’ve already learnt. 【設(shè)計意圖】教師呈現(xiàn)視頻中的臺詞的英文語境，讓學(xué)生在朗讀和思考中，用新詞代替舊詞，學(xué)會轉(zhuǎn)化。 6. focus
Ss fill in the blanks and tell the different usage of its noun form and verb form.
【設(shè)計意圖】通過句子的填空方式，引導(dǎo)學(xué)生認(rèn)識到新詞的名詞與動詞的用法不同。 7. lead to
T presents examples and Ss summarize the meaning of “lead to” through comparison. T presents the different phrases related to the new word. 【設(shè)計意圖】教師呈現(xiàn)例子，讓學(xué)生通過對比理解一詞多義和一詞多用，加深對詞匯的理解。 8. regret
T presents the context and examples of the new word to help Ss learn the usage.
【設(shè)計意圖】教師通過語境的呈現(xiàn)幫助學(xué)生理解該新詞的動詞和名詞的不同用法。 Step 4: Consolidation (3 mins)
Ss come to the blackboard and draw a line on the screen to find the new words and expressions. And T guides Ss to read all the key words and phrases.
【設(shè)計意圖】通過相關(guān)字詞的游戲設(shè)計，讓學(xué)生在課堂上身心都動起來，提升課堂氛圍，激發(fā)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)興趣。教師帶讀新詞，鞏固新知。
Step5. Group Work (13 mins)
T presents pictures and context of a famous story -- To Borrow Arrows with Thatched Boats. Ss use the newly learnt words and expressions to describe the classical story and share their stories.
【設(shè)計意圖】草船借箭的故事學(xué)生耳熟能詳，小組討論的形式更能集思廣益，從而達到鞏固新知識的目的。
Step 6: Summary & Assignment (2 mins)
T presents her version of this classical work. T asks Ss to make up a story by using the new words and expressions as many as possible. Write it down and share the story with classmates. 【設(shè)計意圖】經(jīng)過一堂課的鋪墊，教師讓學(xué)生自由選擇語境的故事載體且盡可能多的用上新學(xué)的詞匯，讓學(xué)生自由創(chuàng)作，激發(fā)學(xué)生運用熱情。
