Teaching Objectives:

book by its cover.And we should be a nice person in our life.
Learning strategy: Their cooperative learning skill will be improved when they are doing the group work.
Cultural conscionsness: Get pupils to understand we should be a nice
people in our life.If someone have difficult we should help them.
Teaching key & important points :
The students can draw faces and learn emotion words.Complete the summary of he story and act the story. Teaching Methods & Learning Methods:

2. Introduce my special friend to all the students.
3. Ask students where is my friend and who is my friend?
StepII. Pre-reading
1. Listen to the video and let students say hello to my friend. Get pupils to guess: Where is my friend?
2. Use the magnifier to see my friend. He is a little ant.
StepIII. While-reading
1. Listen and answer the question Q:Who’s in the play?
Arousing students’
interesting and
itroduce my special friend—ant. 2.Listen again and fill in the blanks. Find the words and put it on the blackboard. Then draw faces.(afraid,worried,happy,sad and angry)
4. Read the first,second and third paragraphs and answer the questions. Q:What is Robin going to do ? Q:Does he sit on the grass? Q:Why not?

5. Read the fourth,fifth and sixth paragraphs by themselves and answer the questions. Q:What’s wrong with Robin?

8. Number the pictures and describe the pictures.
