本課選自 PEP 5 Unit 4 Part C Story time(P45)。本單元的主題是What can you do?。語言知識主要涉及What can you do? I can … Can you…? Yes, I can. No, I can’t.等句型。該故事講述的是一只老鼠不小心碰到了想吃掉它的蛇，聰明的老鼠積極地開動腦筋，騙過了蛇，從蛇口逃生的一次經歷，是孩子感興趣的話題。通過有趣的故事創設真實的情景，綜合孩子們已有的語言知識，鞏固本單元核心語料。 教學 設計 說明
這是一節有趣的故事課，內容簡單易懂。從情感態度價值方面來說，要培養學生遇到危險要冷靜并開動腦筋的意識。本課故事教學突出“講故事”，特別是引導學生觀察故事中的人、物、環境，通過師生互動共同來理解故事。教學重點是理解故事，而不是語音、詞匯和語法。本課嘗試創設戲劇氛圍，使學生通過說，唱，玩，演，去思考，去合作，去實踐，真切體驗故事人物角色的心理和情感。學生在理解、朗讀、表演故事等過程中逐步提高綜合語言運用能力。

1. 學生能通過傾聽、讀圖、預測和切身的角色體驗理解整個故事內容，并能感受
到英語學習的樂趣。
2. 學生能在故事推進過程中，在整體語境中理解句子“Here comes some tasty
food.”， “Wait a minute”，”There is a lake near here.”以及單詞”throw”, ”silly”, 和詞組 ”swim away”的意思。
3. 學生能在情境中鞏固運用本單元核心句型What can you do? I can….Can
you…? Yes, I can…. No, I can’t. 4. 學生能有感情地朗讀并表演故事。
