2. Read a chant to review the usages of the simple present tense. 3. According the pictures and the hints to complete the conversations.
Step 2 New words presentation.
1．Watch a video and ask：what do you think of the video? (Learn the word；interesting )
2．Watch the pictures or the video, or listen to the music, or answer the question to learn the new words: relaxing difficult relaxing fun .
3. Read the words in different ways. Make sure every student can remember the words.
4.Game 1：Who has the best eyes? When you see the word ,stand
up and say it quickly. If you answer right, you can get a star for your group.
Step 3 Work on 1a.
1. Point to the words in 1a and ask students to repeat each one. Ss: interesting, fun, relaxing, boring, difficult
2. Let some Ss explain the Chinese meaning of them. 3. Then match each picture with one of the words.
(Point to the five pictures and ask students to match them.) 4. Correct the answers.
Step 4 Game 2: Guessing: Which group is the luckiest?
1. Look at the pictures and guess what he / she says.
2. Listen and check the answer. If you answer right, you can get a star for your group.
(Review the words and learn the structures: Let’s.. That’s …. ). Step 5 Work on 1b and 1c.
1. T: we’ll listen to a conversation. Here are two children in the conversation. What do they want to do?

4. Listen to the recording in 1b. What does Paul say about the activities? (Point to the blanks where the students write their answers.)
5. Play the recording. Listen to the conversation and write a word from 1a in each blank. (Play the recording again.)

. 1.T: Act out the conversation in 1c in pairs. You are Paul. Your partner is Paul's friend, Jenny. Talk about the activities in 1c.
S1: Let’s play computer games. S2: That sounds interesting but… 2. Students work.
3. Let some pairs act out the conversation in front of the class. Step 7 Pair work 2
