教學(xué)目標(biāo):
1. 學(xué)習(xí)各國的見面禮儀。通過聽力訓(xùn)練和口語訓(xùn)練加深對目標(biāo)語言的認(rèn)識。 2. 掌握be supposed to do sth句型的用法。
3. 培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的跨文化意識,學(xué)會理解和尊重他人文化。
教學(xué)重點(diǎn)、難點(diǎn):
1. 掌握be supposed to do sth的用法,學(xué)會表達(dá)建議。 2. 談?wù)摬煌瑖业牧?xí)俗和你應(yīng)該做的事。
教學(xué)方法:
任務(wù)型教學(xué)法、多媒體輔助教學(xué)、情景教學(xué)法體驗(yàn)式教學(xué)法
教學(xué)過程:
Step Ⅰ. Lead in 導(dǎo)入
1. Ask some questions:
How do usually come to school? Are you often late for school?
Is it a good idea to come to school late?
No. You are supposed to come to school on time. You’re not supposed to be late.
2. Use the pictures on the screen to practice :be supposed to do sth 3. Lead in :show a picture and ask:
What are you supposed to do when you meet him for the first time?
Step Ⅱ. Presentation 呈現(xiàn)
1. Show pictures and say: Different countries have different customs: 2. Learn new words: shake hands/ kiss / bow 3. Use the pictures on the screen to practice: In Japan/Korea/…,what people do usually do when they meet for the first time? They are supposed to…
Step Ⅲ. Teaching and practice教學(xué)活動(dòng)
1. Open the books .look at 1a. haveSs predict and match by themselves first. 2. Play the tape only once , and check answers .
3. Work in pairs to make a role-play , give an example before that: T: ---when do people in China do when they meet for the first time? S1:---They are supposed to shake hands.
----What do people do in Brazil when they meet for the first time? ---They are supposed to kiss.
4. Ask some pairs to act out the dialogues.
5. Summarize and lead in 2a :Each country does have its own customs. To be better learners, We are supposed to know more about the cultures in different countries. When in Rome,do as the Romans do.(德育滲透)
Here we have a girl called Maria. she had dinner in an American home. Did she make any mistakes in culture?
6. Play the tape .have students finish 2a and 2b. 7. Check answers.
8.Work in pairs to make a role-play conversation.
Step Ⅳ Consolidation and extension 鞏固和拓展
1. Discuss:What did you learn from the conversation about outdoor parties in the USA?
If you go to an outdoor party in America , you are supposed to dress casually .And it’s also important to go there on time . When you meet others for the first time at the party , you are expected to shake hands . 2. summarize the key points of this lesson 3. Do some related exs. 完成句子
