be supposed to do… 應(yīng)該……被期望做……,當(dāng)句子的主語(yǔ)是人時(shí),它可以用來(lái)表示勸告,建議,義務(wù),責(zé)任等,意思是 “to be expected to do sth., or to have to do sth.”
e.g.You’re supposed to ask the teacher if you want to leave the classroom.
