教學目標
1. Learn some useful words and expressions: work, hospital, on, farm, on a farm, drive
2. Talk about jobs and workplaces: (1)—What does the man do? —He is a doctor. (2)—Where does he work? —He works in a hospital.
3. Make students know how to describe about their families’ occupations and workplaces, improve their abilities of communication, including
listening and speaking.
4. Make students love life and like using English to communicate by talking about occupations. Let them know study is a happy thing.
2學情分析
初一學生活潑好動,想象力豐富,喜歡直觀形象思維,但學生的對知識的掌握程度參差不齊,學生的自主學習能力需進一步提高,但個別學生學習過程與老師要求脫節,兩極分化現象已提前在初一出現,要改變這種狀況,教師更要引入任務型教學和趣味性教學。此階段主要任務是激發并保持學生學習英語的興趣。
3重點難點
1. Learn and master the sentence patterns about inquiring jobs and work places.
2. Let students talk about jobs and workplaces in English, improve their abilities of communication.

活動1【導入】問候及視頻導入
Step1. Greeting

Step2. lead to
T:boys and girls,when I’m happy ,I like watching cartoons. What about you? Maybe you like watching cartoons. So first I’ll show you a flash. follow it,please.
Show a flash to student.
活動2【講授】呈現與鞏固
Step3. Presentation
1.Let students learn and master the new words from the pictures on the screen.
2.let students remember the new words in 30 seconds. Then spell them out.
3.①Show a picture of the teacher. Ask and answer between the teacher and students.
T:Who is she? She is …
T:I am a teacher. What do I do?
②Show a picture of students.
T: What do you do?
S: We are students.
③ Show some other pictures
T: What does he/she do?
S: He/She is…
4.Pair work
Point the pictures, and use the sentences to ask and answer with your partner.
5.Guessing game“what does he do?”
Use “Is he/she a/an… ”to ask the teacher.
Step4. Consolidation
Use the picture of kangkang’s parents to lead to 1a.
Watch the flash of 1a and finish 1b.
let students read 1a then make up a new dialog according to 1a.
Ask several groups to act it out in front of the class.
