文本話題是保護(hù)熊貓,八年級(jí)學(xué)生熟悉此話題,對(duì)動(dòng)物比較感興趣,更能專注于閱讀了解更多關(guān)于熊貓的知識(shí);從本學(xué)期開(kāi)始已經(jīng)著重培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的閱讀理解的能力,學(xué)生已經(jīng)具備一定的閱讀能力,他們也有更好的獨(dú)立思考與理性思考的能力,可以對(duì)保護(hù)動(dòng)物有更為具體的理解和行動(dòng)。

Ask students to watch a video about pandas, and ask a question: Who stays with the pandas? Panda keepers Learn the new words: keeper
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過(guò)熊貓和飼養(yǎng)員一起玩耍的視頻,讓學(xué)生感受到熊貓的可愛(ài),順利導(dǎo)入到本節(jié)課的話題,通過(guò)問(wèn)題的提出,導(dǎo)入到重要詞匯:keeper, 也為下面的閱讀內(nèi)容作了鋪墊。 2. Brainstorming
Talk more about the pandas.
Give some tips: look, character, where, endangered, research base, protect
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過(guò)頭腦風(fēng)暴的形式,喚起學(xué)生對(duì)熊貓已有的知識(shí)再現(xiàn),也為學(xué)習(xí)新詞匯:endangered, research base 提供契機(jī),同時(shí)讓學(xué)生都張嘴說(shuō),活躍了閱讀前的課堂氛圍。
3. Introduce some reading skills
After some introduction about Chengdu Research, we’ll begin reading 2b, before that, the teacher introduce two reading skills:
Skimming: This means looking quickly through a piece of writing to find the main idea without reading every word.
Scanning: This means moving your eyes quickly down the page to find specific information(具體的,詳細(xì)信息).
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:在開(kāi)始閱讀前,重述這兩種常用的閱讀技巧,旨在引導(dǎo)學(xué)生運(yùn)用正確的閱讀策略完成閱讀任務(wù),這是閱讀課必備的學(xué)習(xí)目標(biāo)。 4. Skimming
Read the the whole passage quickly and do Exercise 1&2. E1:The purpose(目的)of the writer is to ask us to:

設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過(guò)這兩個(gè)閱讀任務(wù),讓學(xué)生篩選出文本細(xì)節(jié)信息,也是閱讀課的一個(gè)重點(diǎn)目標(biāo)。 7. Group work
Retell the article according the mind map.
Ask students to retell the article in groups, then ask some of them to act out.
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:在每段完成閱讀任務(wù)后,老師在黑板上都會(huì)有一個(gè)簡(jiǎn)單的知識(shí)梳理,用圖表或簡(jiǎn)筆畫(huà)畫(huà)出了每段的重要內(nèi)容及情節(jié)之間的關(guān)系,都是為本環(huán)節(jié)活動(dòng)做的鋪墊,讓學(xué)生能夠根據(jù)老師的思維導(dǎo)圖試著去復(fù)述本篇文章,深入理解文章。
8. Make a poster together
The teacher make a language environment. The pandas are called “national treasure of China”. So we should try our best to protect them. So the teacher want to take part in this year’s panda protection poster design competition. Now the teacher needs the students’ help.
G1:Introduce the basic facts about pandas.
G2:Describe the reasons why pandas are endangered. G3-G7:Think up more ways to protect pandas.
G8:Make some slogans(口號(hào)) to call up other people to protect pandas.
After finishing the task, each group leader make a report, and make the card on the poster, and finish the beautiful poster together.
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過(guò)小組討論完成老師布置的制作海報(bào)的一部分,一方面讓學(xué)生對(duì)本節(jié)課所學(xué)的內(nèi)容做個(gè)總結(jié):如熊貓的基本情況,瀕危的原因,保護(hù)措施,口號(hào);另一方面也是本節(jié)課的生成部分,讓學(xué)生除了課本上保護(hù)熊貓的措施,想出更多的保護(hù)辦法;除此之外,通過(guò)小組活動(dòng),激發(fā)了學(xué)生的合作意識(shí),也鍛煉了學(xué)生寫(xiě)作和口頭表達(dá)的能力。是本節(jié)課的一個(gè)創(chuàng)新點(diǎn)。 9. Emotion education
Conclude the poster task, and tell students besides the pandas, we should also protect other wild endangered animals. Because the world is so beautiful with these animals.
