1、Daily greetings to the children. (二）Review 1、warm-up
《Let’s sing》復習與本課有關的舊知，復習已學單詞。 2、lead in
T:This is John’s home.It’s so beautiful.What’s in his home? Ss:There is/are...
復習已學單詞，教授新單詞phone和table。 （三）Presentation
1、以貓偷魚的故事貫穿整堂課，T:Listen,who is coming? Ss:It’s a cat. T:Where is the cat?Is it on the sofa?讓學生作出回答，復習以be動詞開頭的單數名詞一般疑問句以及它的肯定和否定回答方式。
2、將貓的數量換成復數，同時將一般疑問句變成復數形式，教授本課重難點句型Where are the...? Are they ...?以及其回答方式Yes,they are./No,they aren’t.
3、將課文過渡其中，詢問鑰匙在哪里？播放課文錄音，讓學生完成聽力練習，并對課文內容有一個大致了解。再播放課文動畫，讓學生跟讀課文、齊讀課文、小組合作表演課文，要特別強調in在本課當中的用法。 （四）Practice
1、貓偷完魚之后藏起來了，John’s mother讓John去找貓。引導學生幫忙在家里的每個地方一起尋找，繼續操練難點句型。
2、小組合作：讓學生小組合作編對話，找找貓還會藏在什么地方。 3、做做練習題，鞏固本課新知。
（五）情感教育
To be a careful kid.讓學生感悟要在生活中做一個細心的人。 （六）Homework
1、Practice the dialogue with your partner. 2、為自己評星以及小組內互評。 （七）板書設計
