六年級的學生在此時對英語學習已經有了一定的經驗并養成了良好的學習習慣,形成了有效的學習策略,他們對英語學習有著濃厚的興趣。他們渴望獲得更多的鍛煉機會。因此在真實的語境中，學習我們的傳統節日-春節，學生能夠充分理解本課內容，了解紅色的春節元素及其含義，并體會家人們的團聚與歡樂，最后真正愛上我們的傳統節日-春節。

Warm up:
T: Hello, boys and girls, Are you happy today? Ss: Yes
T: I’m happy too. Today we’ll have a different English lesson with other teachers. Now say “hello” to them. Ss: ... lead in:

A. 1.Listen and choose(通過聽，讓學生選擇喜歡春節的原因—導出red packets)
B．My Spring Festival: Hi, I’m... I like the Spring Festival, because I can... (讓學生發散思維，說出春節期間我們可以做的事情 Eg: get red packets have a big dinner, wear new clothes, play all day... )
C. Read and answer:(出示第一幅圖及文本) Q：When is the Spring Festival?
Ss: The Spring Festival comes in January or February. T show a calendar (讓學生清楚春節的月份，并導出Eve) D. Read and answer:(出示第二幅圖及文本)
Q：What do they do and eat on Chinese New Year’s Eve? Ss: They usually have a big dinner. They usually eat fish and dumplings.
T: Why do they eat dumplings and fish?

People always watch fireworks at night. They like the beautiful fireworks, because fireworks can drive away all bad things. a.
